Do you think this new Hellboy stands a chance at the box office in a very crowded April 2019?

Go back and watch the 2004 trailer and then watch the new one again. The vibe is certainly different. I think the music is some of the problem

Darrell Young 1 second ago Well...since you only red up a little..this is based on the comic book part..The Bloodqueen and the creator was very involved in this movie...the dragons are the 4 dragons of the apocalypse. This is based on British lore..Hellboy draws Excalibur because he happens to be a descendant of Arthur..yhe witch was brought back because she was the most powerful in ..and is going to help the dragons bring about the apocalypseand Hellboy's creator said..This was the closest movie to his concept..so now that the fans have got a little lore ..maybe ..maybe everyone will stop dissing thjis movie so much..Much Love Ya'll

I am skeptical about this version of Hellboy. I think it could struggle during its release during April.

I do look forward to this because of the casting choices and what I see of the character design. I get the feeling this isn't representative of the film. It's more of a bridge for casual fans of the earlier movies. The next trailers will hopefully make a better impression.

What happened to the superhero news podcast?

Meh is exactly the word I was thinking. But I'm not rooting against David Harbour. And the only moment I liked was the shot at the end with him in FULL HELLBOY MODE. But even that moment seemed clumsily directed.

I really, really hope another trailer company tackles the 2nd trailer. This felt like when a fan does a re-edit trailer to make Halloween seem like a Rom-Com. Perhaps I'm too attached to Ron Perlman in the character but dang, I hope David Harbour kills the role and this is simply forcing a fun edited tone to appeal to more people with false advertising.

I think this is not a good first trailer, hope they'll do a better job with the next one. I am going to watch this anyway.
