A very brave choice to do both in one sculpt. Without sounding boring, I prefer the Ron pearlman Hellboy It’s a far superior makeup Fx to my eyes. That’s in reference to the studio version and not your incredible sculpt.
Tom Holland becomes the next Hellboy if this reboot flops, which, since its release is sandwiched between Shazam! and Avengers Endgame, it might happen sooner than expected.
@@kevinpauly6342 a lot of people will still judge it me included but I will always admire the old hellboy the new just looks like he's covered in too many prosthetics and the trailers portray him as quite stupid but only time will tell I wonder if people's opinions will change after it comes out
You guys weren't even fans of the first 2 movies. Idk why all of a sudden y'all fans of Pearlman. Y'all didn't even care about the first 2 movies!! I swear y'all just find any reason to complain about something.
That's insane dude. How can you fit in all the facial characteristics of both actors into one sculpture?! You are so talented man, I can't even believe what I'm seeing.
Thatsssssssss what i dont like about the Harbour Hellboy, the hair on top! I couldnt figure it.out, something just urked me and i couldnt figure out what it was until i seen this video.
@@Pyropatrick1 it will all depend on the writing. Harbour's a fine actor but an actor can only do so much with their script so we will have to see. And I agree with you on Pearlman's performance. The writing for his Hellboy was good and the delivery of jokes was well executed.
Even more than the artist's execution, I am so impressed with how artists can see things in ways most can't. That's one of my favorite things about being human is the specialized abilities across all areas
The only people that dislike are those unwilling to admit that as awesome as RP was, the new Hellboy just looks a lot better, while still holding true to the original design
It's crazy seeing the comparison between both versions. The 2019 ver actually looks more antagonistic than the 2002 ver of Hellboy. I think it shows the different perspectives the SFX artists had on the character
While I grew up with pearlman's hellboy I like the look of David's better... hellboy isnt supposed to look decent or nice, hes hellboy for crying out loud! When Ron Pearlman was hellboy it looked like he had THE worst sunburn of all time, at least from what we've seen of David's he actually looks more like hellboy!
the only problem for me just old hellboy voice is deeper than the new hellboy, that give character more charisma just like mcu thanos, btw i love thanos
My man...you are amazing...I wish I had a fraction of your talent...so excited for the new hellboy....loved the originals...hope the new one is received better the the Pearlmans
