@@mortiarty7842 nah that’s the Texas cat where basically what happened was dude ran from police, they found his car, impounded it and arrested him but they held him in jail so he couldn’t get his car back and since it passed the limit for how long it could stay in impound, the cops took it for free.
I drove through Oregon on the way to boise and I saw like 8 Oregon state troopers in chargers with speed traps set up throughout the mountains. seeing all of them on Waze had me going like 5 under 😂😂 said fuck that my car makes less horsepower than a gokart it's not like I can run
@@MrYabber no cause entrapment you have to be forced in it, if i rev my engine and you take off and i pull you over thats on you i never forced you to take off that was your own dumb decision.
Forfeitures eh? Because they agree to give them up? Try again. The shit is legalized theft. They don't even have to catch you breaking the law or charge you with anything. They'll take your shit and say "prove it's yours" whether it be 3,000 in cash or whatever else. Don't believe me? Carry 4,000 in cash on you to the airport in Atlanta, Houston, etc and see what happens 😂
Tampa Highway Patrol? WTF??? Tampa is a city within the State of Florida. The city of Tampa has a police department ( TPD ). Tampa is in Hillsborough County which has its own sheriff’s department ( HCSD ). Next is Florida Highway Patrol ( FHP ). Where did you see or read or hear about the Tampa Highway Patrol, first having a Hellcat, second this hellcat supposedly being crashed?
@@RealLifeRomanAtwoodthey impounded a hellcat and turned it into a chase car. It is rare that a hellcat get impounded because most of hellcats rn are either stolen or crash or they just run away from cops.
Just passed a Georgia State Patrol on my way home. Had someone pulled over. Cop car was a ZL1! Like wtf. Atlanta is getting serious about these street racers
I'd bet nearly anything that these cars (Hellcat, ZL1, etc, etc) are the result of asset forfeiture. It's a FUCKED UP law. They don't even need to charge you with ANYTHING, catch you with anything - it's literally legal robbery by Police. Most if not all Departments that have this policy get to keep 100 PERCENT of any and ALL $ or property that they "allege" was used in a crime or the committing of a crime. BULLSHIT. This is how some small departments buy tanks & obscene SWAT vehicles for towns with a population as little as 500 or less.
Byrd doesn't need the Hellcat Challenger, the Hellcat Charger would be better for handling and constant turns. Or give him a Camaro ZL1. That regular charger they have him in just isn't enough for his ability
@@firkejdjneii28283 They're used for organ transplants in the mountains where it'd take too long for a normal car to reach the hospital, and where helicopters are too dangerous. They function more like ambulances, but they're police vehicles.
@@TannerPhoenix-te6nqThey stopped impounding sports cars in my state because the police kept parting them out and selling them, they would pull a lambo for speeding, tow it, and when the guy would come collect it would be on blocks.
Lol I seen Fort Worth Police got a Blacked out Ram TRX with the ghost police decal u won’t notice it unless ur at a certain angle or ur headlights put light on it other than that it has the light little bars all around and the Exempt plate with all #s😂 they arnt fuccin around these days ig
NC troopers out in Charlotte have a C6 and C7 Z06 speed enforcement patrol cars. They are both modded to 700 hp and 850 hp respectively (not by the state, but by the previous owner). They will often show up in cars shows if anyone is curious to see them. They got the trooper livery and everything.
Idc how fast a hellcat is, you got a land yacht vs a sports bike, bikes gonna out corner tf out of anything. Not to mention bikes are fast asf because they are light compared to cars
@@purple_beany Nah he’s stupid for stopping. They wouldn’t have caught him but guess what his car is gone now for hood and he has a bunch of fines to pay
@@kingfancy7317 If he stops, he gets a fine and a mark on his record. His car gets impounded, but he can still just pay to recover it. If he runs, he now has a fleeing arrest charge on him wherever he goes, police are going to notice a bright red Audi R8 and attempt to pull it over every chance they get (and oftentimes with force if traffic isn't bad) and a year or two in jail along with a criminal record. It's fun to outrun the police once, but once you have to do it consistently or use a different car all the time, the novelty wears off quick.
@@Q50Ericit’s Texas lmao they have the MOST super cars of any state besides cali and it aint that Simple they need plates to identify not just a color and model smh stop tryna be the police
Between the thugs and the Po-po Hellcats have forever been ruined for me. Just don't like'em and who owns them and all the trouble having one seems to have. Sucks because their fucking monsters.
@@SZUSEast1 not influencing me at all my an. I don't want to own something that puts a target on me by the law and the hood rats. I'll build something with 750hp and not have the headache
That’s the most accurate thing I’ve read on hellcats. I’ve made a few punks spin out from them trying to catch up on my slow ass car in a hard turn. Keep thinking about others that way
West Palm Beach FL has a white 5.0 on I-95 (usually north) that will rev next to you to try and get you to race. once you hit 90 that’s when the lights come on
No. Y’all are forgetting to realize how much 707 hp really is… the hellcat has a top speed of 203 mph and the Audi R8 can go 204, you aren’t running from the cops with a 1mph faster top speed.
@@sitramaybe Lol I have. But you know what’s better than power to weight ratio? A drag race oriented ECU and electronics in the car. Also, wait until you find out the R8 has a quarter-mile time of 11.3 seconds and the hellcat challenger has a time of 10.8 seconds 🤭🤭🤭
I know that car! Good job Sarge! Its a Texas DPS RedEye that is pulleyed and tuned (1000+hp). It also has a built engine. Confiscated Car the original owner put $60,000 into it, have the shop receipts.
You're so ignorant to how things work. The cars are more than likely ones they've gotten from seizures and converted them. Also, the whole point in getting a loan is on the basis you pay it back. If you loaned someone 10-20 grand you're telling me you wouldn't want it back ?? Lol
For people questioning the cost: Most, not all, of the times, these are vehicles that have been seized by the police. State police in my state seized a Lamborghini back in the day. Great on the highway, not so much the desert..😂😂😂
Bro they’re gonna turn this whole thing into a real life street racing game. Those speed junkies are gonna run like hell from those beefier police units
