Memes aside, this has to be one of the best composed soundtracks of the last 10 years. Hit has flavours reminiscent of the Terminator theme by Brad Fiedel and feels like the best parts of Starship troopers and RoboCop soundtracks by Basil Poledouris. And that's no mistake. Wilbert Roget, the composer of the music from Helldivers 2, really knows how to evoke the feelings the developers at arrowhead studios were going for. It feels straight out of my favourite action movies from the 80's and 90's.
I for one have been loving the game for a while now, but before even buying it, I was obsessed with this theme music. The odd time signatures, the motifs, the countermelodies, EVERYTHING. It's absolutely perfect. For Liberty! For Democracy!!!
