Same here. But the solos who post lvl 9 games seem to get the same behavior from the bots. So the only thing I can think of is that lvl 7 bots are somehow more alert to make lvl 7 difficult. But the higher you go, that alert lvl goes down, but the number of bots goes up, with a lot more elite bots mixed in. 🤷 Idk, but I definitely don't have the bots acting the same at lvl 7, as they do in lvl 9 videos. There must be some hidden modifiers. Or the RU-vid effect is in play. Where the solos fail 10 missions, but get one good run where everything lines up perfectly and that 11th run is the one that gets uploaded.

@@pointnemo72 It s extremely good positioning and dribbling of patrols in combinations with their smooth operating & strategem code input. You probably know yourself when you re "in the zone" and play automatically. I had instances where i should ve left a place 5 seconds earlier, which would have been possible if i called in drops or was operating the terminal just slightly faster. Instead i got locked into a firefight and almost got cut off by another patrol and surrouned by the incoming bot drops. I comlpetely agree on inconsistancy of the difficulties, because i can have HELLISH lvl7 runs where i sweat almost constantly for the rest of the mission just because i accidentally kited into a point of interst. But similarly to that i can also have extremly chill helldiver difficulty all clears where i threw 2x 380barrage and 2x orbital laser each into 1 command bunker, picked off scanner, jammer, aa platform and SAM battery or whatever - with some outposts taking air strikes and the remaining 380s - and boom 100% lvl9 difficulty done, only getting detected ONCE but never to be found again.. That was even before the Spear fix. However nowadays i use the Anti Material Rifle orAutocannon with stun grenades + no shield. Either heavy armor with explosion resistance or light scout armor can make this almost calming. I wonder if the large shouldestrapped laser pointer will eventually get good, because for now even the railgun seems to have made a comeback after the nerfs..

Yeah that's what i call panic mode 🤣 looking at it now, i think i assumed that there might be more enemies coming from the left side compared to those few devastators i left behind me. Turned out i was wrong and left side was clear after those hulks passed. Luckily my guardian angel was still around 😎

If you time it with objectives, huge advantage. If you have a long way to run, disadvantage.

You have to bump right into a bot for them to notice you

Not much. Striders are quite big and slow so i usually try to use terrain to get advantage

equipment makes a huge difference. scorcher (last weapon you unlock on warbond) kills bots effortlessly. its honestly broken with how well it does on devistators and walkers and flexible for infantry. before scorcher is unlocked tho, support weapon can make it much easier or harder. auto cannon makes a night and day difference. sniper is just as effective but the autoCannon is more forgiving, can flinch devistators which makes gatling guns less likely to headshot you the second you peakout.

that was intended. he triggered a bot drop at a location he could easily abandon so he could move on to the next area while taking advantage of the ~2:30 delay (with booster) before the next drop can be called. helps draw bots away from where you need to be and give you a better safety cushion to engage and assassinate
