Helldivers 2 Future Developement - NEW Insider Update! 

You know what would freshen things up? Maybe there could be a special period in the game where both the Automatons and Terminids are on the same planet. They could either fight with each other or work together to take down the Helldivers.

I think the biggest problem with Helldivers now is they started off so strong with content updates that now they are slowing down and people are upset that there isn’t “enough” content

If the illuminate release date of July 12th turns out to be legit, I wonder if we’ll be instantly get a major order to defend against them, or if they’ll be showing up as Easter eggs on bug and bot missions for a few weeks before the actual invasion. They did it with shriekers for the bugs so it’s definitely possible. And if July 12th is the date of the order, then maybe the illuminate will be showing up prior to that? Also I believe it will actually be July 3rd, since in the original tweet they said 1 and 2, which equals 3

2 billion bots would have been possible pre-Sony debacle. I hope that the blocked nations are restored.

All I have to say about the mech is, "I love my Iron Bear". Haha!

How about a functional friends list if they truly want to help us have control over who we dive with? They did add a hold function on remove friend, & that's awesome, but they never fixed the damage done by accidental friend removing. I still can't refriend them. The ones I do have on my friends list randomly pop on at some point, well after we logged on. Usually takes a mission or two for the game to actually see my friends on line. It's such a bummer to come home, plans to play with your crew, & no one popping on friends list. We all plan to play together but can't find each other unless we manually look through the planets.

Game feels like it is starting to go in the right direction. Arrowhead needs to address the long outstanding bugs and need to really work on their testing/Q&A for patches before releasing them to the live servers. Hopefully there is more positive weapon balancing coming in July.

I’m honestly just loving the game right now. It feels so fun and the changing of the modifiers has been so enjoyable. I wish there was more positivity in the community because the game is great and only getting better and the developers effort is seriously amazing to see

Defence missions where there's 4 squads of 4 on the same map, each has to defend their objective for the longest, and whoever survives the longest wins more medals.

The spear needs 2 more rockets per backpack and needs to 1 shot hulks and tanks consistently

Yes AH is going into right direction and about blocked countries i found a solution how my friends can join even my country is blocked from obtaining the game, but we still can play, no VPN included, game is fun and i really like it, even if i have everything unlocked and reached samples and medals cap, all warbonds unlocked still playing Helldivers with my squad for the good time

Has anyone else noticed a new issue with spawns where if you seemingly play with someone on your friends list the spawns glitch producing infinite drop ships/bug breeches?

Friends tab is just a scroll wheel now on pc. Not a problem for everyone. I keep dcing on pod drop and once on back to ship screen after mission breif screen. One match we had millions of respawn permanently active but spawned just a floating and sometimes active incen breaker. Same mission the extract beacon disappeared. I watched sarge do a mission call in a resupply and it was crazy out of reach. Lots of bugs mostly funny some irritating. Great fixes, and new content. Im still loving this game!

When they said go against us on the future developments I can imagine one of the AH team controlling a hive lord boss for instance or the automaton boss when it has the name of the boss and also the name of the one controlling it Joel pls don’t destroy us

Dont give in. We all dive together. Or not at all. If the country blacklist was undone none of this would be a problem.

Ballistic shield still bugged ever since they fixed the stuck in prone/crouch bug. ADS using ballistic shield + smg, causes you to aim/fire elsewhere instead of where the laser light indicates. The list of known bugs still doesn't acknowledge it.

So are we getting something besides skins, gimmicky weapons, and assault rifle clones any time soon?

Honestly, they can put off the illuminate until they give us the weapon mods system. We need something to spend samples and requisition on.

Love the new map and the new update format! Hopefully we get more good coming our way from Arrowhead!

They just need advanced progression upgrades, they already have the blueprint with some of the ship modules, they just need a bunch more that modify existing stratagems adding power and utility. This would give higher level players something to grind for.

Of course joels favorite moment was when helldivers failed a mission X'D

all they have to do is give 1 ectra strategem on bots to get the bug boys over. on bots it feels like certain strats are essential which leavesd less room for fun mixes of strats.

I wonder why nobody talk about the performance getting bad each update.

We need to focus on the planet feeding the planet about to be defense mission.

Had an awesome string of games with a squad and they all friend requested me(ig before it was a known bug) couldn't accept them and everyone unsent them because I presume they didn't know I couldn't accept 🤦🏽

Love the story recap and the bug fixes. keep the content rolling the game is great. if they need to do a paid expansion or just sell new maps monthly... idc

Honestly, we just need MORE STRATOGEMS, MORE!!!!! Like where the hell are those AA Stratagems they promised when we first found out about the Gunships all those months ago? Also would be nice if we got our Bayonets at some point, then melee would actually be decent. Seriously every Rifle in Helldivers 1 had a Bayonet upgrade, why Helldivers 2 doesn't have those Bayonets is beyond me. Plus.... would be nice to have more Vehicles sometime soon. I'm getting kinda tired of running everywhere, would be nice to have a set of wheels.

Having too much fun in the game. Still learning things. Bots vs bugs balance needed though. I play bugs on 9. Bots on 7 or 8.

Yeah did they fix the crashes, and friends list.. most people are annoyed and were running out of excuses for it

The game needs the enemy factions to interact with each other. There should be a major order where we need to take a termanid planet before an automaton science vessel reaches it. If we fail the automatons will use a version of the tcs to enhance the termanids creating new enemies

I think they have sold enough copies that they can probably afford to have a small team working on helldivers engine update to unreal. Meanwhile they need to seriously buff all the weapons. Even after this last major update I still use the same weapons over and over because honestly the buffs did not go far enough. Eagle strafing run is garbage. Those bullets should melt through chargers. IT also feels like there were some hidden nurfs. Like the cluster bomb seems weaker lately.

The fact they didnt even know peak physique didn't work proves these clowns dont even play test their own game. These devs are one of the worst ive ever seen when it comes to updates.

There was nothing to celebrate with the 2 billion bots failure, they set us up for failure knowing 50% of the lobotomized playerbase are just constantly drooling on themselves in the terminid sectors

After they dropped ANOTHER liberate 6 planets I'm finished. These devs are lazy and can't be bothered to give anything but lackluster, boring and all around just a waste of time MOs. 3 weeks in a row man. How hard is it to engage your player base?
