I was thinking that over lunch time that there was no way I was gonna solo the harder difficulties anytime soon. Which makes me so happy. I'm really enjoying the game
are the mission shorts?i play yesterday and the fisrt missions was too short, i go to sleept but unlock the medium leve , dont know if the game later is more lenght in missions and hard to best the levels
I gotta say the carnage and explosions in this game are fantastic. This looks like it'll be a blast to play with people. Especially if they include some really huge bug enemies.
Yeah there are,at "lower" difficulties there are some heavy armoured bugs that want to stampede you,and they're BIG and scary. At higher difficulties you literally have bugs that are high 10-15 metres at least
As a veteran of the first Helldivers, I wholeheartedly believe there are more nightmarish beasts/ enemies from each faction waiting for us on higher difficulties. 😂😂😂
This is the type of game I have been waiting a long time to play with friends ! Not hyper sweaty and competitive that will make people pissed. But, a fun coop game
A lot of the game is diegetic, so the loading screen is actually dynamically populated. If you drop onto a planet with a lot of other players, there’ll be lots of other pods in the background dropping with you, and loads of Destroyers in orbit alongside your own while you’re aboard your ship. It’s super immersive. I love this game.

Its very cool that i know i was fighting on those planets with the other streamers. Its a silly thing but knowing everyone is in the same fight is really cool
It's great to see you guys are playing this game. The original Helldivers is my all-time favorite, so I am naturally very passionate about its sequel. Anyway, I'm just doing my part and leaving a comment for the algorithm until i can help spread managed democracy myself.
Friendly fire can only ever be ON in Hilldivers. I liked that you ran straight in front of someone's gun right after telling them that it's on, typical gamer move XD
My friends have been playing smash bros on new consoles since 1999 and they've never moved on to games like this. I've become a master smash bro myself because of it but it sure does look fun to play games like this with friends

I have to say that Stratagem control system is really cool, I've actually wished games would implement that kind of scheme as an alternative for weapon wheels etc. for a long time
OMG the visuals and lighting in this game look AMAZING! The Aurora in the sky and the bug nests glowing like lava look beautiful at night... I can't believe how much work Arrowhead have put into this game.. Helldivers 2 could end up being my fave game of all time!
If you played the first game you will know how much of a step up part 2 is graphically. Also this from a small studio of 100 people that delivers better quality than most of the big AAA developers. @@Matt-jc2ml
Reminds of a broken Gears of War with crummy graphics, broken matchmaking and terrible PC performance...slow/clunky gameplay isn't more fun than playing couch coop with your friends. It only lets them sell you MTX because you can see them better.
@skillzsquar3dgaming180 the devs have patched the quick play bug and I've seen way less people reporting connectivity issues in the official discord so should be goodmnow
This actually looks really fun, I gotta say. I like the idea of a casual and fun shooter with friends (I know there's others). The Starship Troopers vibe is just a plus imo lol! The launch was a tad rocky, though. But they seem to be getting the servers significantly more stable now.
I'm fairly sure that Helldiver's approach to difficulty is not to increase the health of the enemies, but to throw larger groups of higher tiered enemies at your group

This game, from customization to the mechanics, was a masterpiece of his own, only flaw was the camera. With these graphic and pov it’s gonna be remembered

Things can go from dead quiet to absolute insanity SO FAST. The game is deceptively complex though and rewards smart decisions. I realized far too late that you can actually just sneak by many patrols, or if you kill them fast enough they aren't able to call for backup. Works with both bugs and automatons.
One small tip for less friendly fire crouch or go prone if you're the guy in front holding the line or when you have to absolutely pass in front of someone shooting in a narrow corridor. Glad to see coverage on this game. Loved the first one to death.
its an alien invasion alright, but you are the one invading the aliens in Helldivers 1 atleast, its heavily implied Super Earth is waving wars of aggression to conquer planets and get their resources same with Starship Troopers if you pay attention
Huge fan of the first one and im really enjoying this one. I just wish helldivers 2 had vehicle's and mechs from the start. Its what made the original so good
I hope your full review highlights just how insanely good this game is. I can't believe there is not more hype for one of the best coop PvE games ever made!
Fun fact: The music is composed by Wilbert Roget II who worked on Destiny 2: Forsaken! Most notably the Vault encounter theme for the Last Wish Raid “Watchtower” 😍
