new Spiked lets gooo !!! really loving the teamwork in these recent vids! feels like y'all have been having some very smooth runs as a result Hope a Vernen Wells upload is in the books - I know a lot of folk don't like the planet, between how spawns work and large rocks basically sectioning the map, but something about the aesthetic just really speaks to me. Sandstorms are also top-tier imo; really feels like no one has visibility, used one last night to take out a double gunship fab and they had zero clue on my location the whole time.
Yeah, sandstorms are amazing, both for the atmosphere and the crazy stealthing you can do. Got a couple of bot runs coming up, think one is Vernen Wells and another is Mastia, so plenty of desert action coming!
"our team play was so on point" i honestly wonder when arrowhead will reach you guys to ask for permission in using your videos as highlight😭 also, what if autocannon has dedicated armor piercing rounds? 2 shots to the face of charger and maybe 3 shots for impaler face
I wouldn't mind :P. A lot of the biggest content creators are doing solo stuff, but that doesn't necessarily reflect what works / what's possible in team games tho. Feel like some of the online discourse around balance isn't factoring that side of things in enough. You mean ammo switching via firemode? Feel like it could be a little complex tbh especially with the whole stripper clip mechanic, and you really don't want it to completely overshadow the AT support weapons either. I'm hoping it takes a good chunk if not all of an AC mag to strip say a Charger leg or head of its armour, so going for the 3 shot to the ass is still much faster but at greater risk.
@@newspiked7385 what i would really like is to be able to select an ammo type in the loadout screen. choosing to bring like an APFSDS over an APHE or something like that, and then thats the ammo you get all game
@@larahansen2249this feels a lot more likely, given the existence of other weapons that are essentially ammo type swaps (slugger vs punisher, etc). I’d be down for an alternate autocannon with higher AP at the cost of ammo, magazine size, or other utility factors.
I think small enemies should be completely removed from the autocannon and rocket sentry target lists alltogether. the AC in particular can get caught up constantly trying to rotate and kill smaller targets who die too quickly for it to shoot at and so it ends up not doing very much at all, and the prioritizing of heavy units seems to come after distance priority - I notice both sentries will choose to fire at a smaller target that's closer to them over a larger target that's farther away, and in can even damage/destroy themselves doing it
It's a toughie, because if they didn't fire at them at all they would fail to protect themselves sometimes, and part of their value is being able to handle both heavies and lights. Adding the ping-directed targetting or rejigging the priorities would be a good move tho.
@@newspiked7385 another solution could be to give those turrets which are primarily intended to deal with heavy targets more durability so as to withstand weaker attacks from smaller enemies while also remaining vulnerable to say a charger or bile titan
Not on twitch / yt anything like that, though I've considered it, I just think I'd lack the ability to read and respond to comments while playing. I stream pretty often on our Discord tho!
Yeah it's kinda sad seeing how the PS5 got a really watered down version regarding the resolution. The lava coming out from volcanos at the distance looks pixelated, even some big stars in the sky are just a bunch of visible pixels
1) Walk slightly ahead of the shell, in the direction you want to throw it 2) Pick up the shell 3) Before the shell has reached your hands, quickly switch to your gun to let go of the shell. 4) The faster the shell was travelling when you let go, the further you throw it. Walking further from the shell before picking it up also means it travels faster.
Walk ahead of the missiles, pick it up, then switch to your gun to drop it before it reaches your hands. The faster it's moving when you let go, the further you'll throw it.
