Not realy, and no. feel that the game sadly have gotten a little stale. also not that fun to fight for days on end, just to end up with yet another failed major order. suspect what would bring back the numbers is what most people are still talking about, that they should give the game back to the regions that has blocked. also the introduction of a new faction might breath some life back into it.
I was excited about the mines and seaf troopers, this looked cool at first but I’m starting to have my doubts if it will actually be good. Love the game and hope the devs can pick the player count back up but the last few weeks kinda just feels like all the fun is being sucked out of the game. Like how you commented on how the suit has probably been ready for quite a while now and is held back to be released at the right time, I feel like there is not enough game content to justify the devs withholding assets, failing the anti tank mines, then completing the first part of SEAF troopers and failing the second half is just punishing us and now we get to do it again with this mech. I don’t play with randoms just don’t enjoy it as much and feel like I’m being rushed, either I’m solo or with my brother, the increased spawns hurt, I’m really hoping we get some actually good updates soon
yep its not our fault when our people arent there, its getting to the point they are trying to force us to no life the game, i hop on for like 2 missions and get bored because i get no samples for 30 minutes of my time

@@FrozenByFire3 And? in order to actually do it you would have to give up 2-3 strat slots so is that really that OP? You would need a rearm strat and a repair strat, ez-pz quite balanced actually.
idea for the mech: maybe once it runs out of ammo, you could call pelican-1 back to collect it, so it can be partially repaired and rearmed, reducing the redeployment cooldown and giving more chance to use the damn thing

Eh I'm sure we'll win this time. Unlike having to kill over a bajillion enemies or wipe put a billion automatons when many stuck with bugs We just have to defend and take over a single planet. I mean even in the games current state we did win the major order that had us defend and take over 4 planets. Two of which were also automaton planets.
Hoping they scale the decay rate and overall liberation metrics with the current player count. Even then its a toss up because people stubbornly avoid MOs.

I’m personally gonna play whatever I find fun, idc for the MO I’m not going into a planet with fire hazard while our divers are seemingly made of napalm. There’s just so many terrible decisions made in this game.
@@redcenturion88 it is to most of the remaining players who don’t need medals for anything other than unlocking random shlt they’ll never use. Also if you remember when we “wiped out” the bots? We cleared like 5 SECTORS in a week n then immediately went back to normal progress when they returned. This was before the psn stuff and when we still had 250-300k active players, point is they control how fast we clear stuff. It quite literally doesn’t matter what we do, have fun. Besides continuing to give orders is actually working against them rn since we fail them all the time, they could be half intelligent and make it easy just to bring up player morale but they rather nerf stuff then force players to go against bots with 1 less stratagem or they don’t get the barebones bottom of the barrel content they have ready. WILD.
@ozylocz4078 I simply view it as means to attaining new content. But if the majority just sees it as a redundant resource farm then you're right. I want the damn mines and the new mech in spite of the countless pitfalls that have come before. While we're all waiting for them to unfuck the situation it would be nice to have something new to mess around with. If they're just dangling that carrot with no intention of giving it then they deserve to go bankrupt.
Would be great if we could actually beat major orders. Losing 180 countries with hundreds of thousands of players makes it really difficult to do anything which delays even more content, which makes less players play etc etc
Till it gets nerfed it’s one of the reasons why I stopped Playing this game use the same strategems same guns same bs it’s not enjoyable anymore same crap missions
If it is going to be anything like the other one, it is going to be a curiosity at best. And with how we are being pressured into using the most efficient stuff available by AH nerfing most equipment while simultaneously buffing enemies, you can't really afford to bring something just for the heck of it.
honestly hard to get excited for any new weapons/stratagems in the game with how they've approached balancing and the patches creating instability, frankly this just seems like a desperate carrot dangle from the devs who are rightfully panicked about their massive drop off in player engagement
Anybody struggling with the EXO rockets: It's an issue of your camera's position. It's over the right shoulder side which is verrry off-center for such a big model. *The solution?* *Hit your Change Camera Side button and voilá! Rockets are now accurate!* (Not that I think it's an upgrade to when it was released and BOTH guns were accurate but hey)
About 2 months ago guy named YES_I_AM_DEV joined our match and started spamming some exosuit, seemingly to test it as it had 0 cooldown and unlimited ammo but instead of having 2 double autocannons that one had one autocannon on each side.
what holds it back is the 250 second cooldown, i get they want it to be used sparingly because it clears chaff but lower the cooldown to 150 seconds so people can carpet areas to defend.
Love the game, shoutout to the devs for continuously pushing updates and adding new features. Devs made a good choice using the Autodesk Stingray gaming engine, makes adding new characters, planets, weapons, armor, hell of a lot easier compared to some of the other gaming engines out there. Can’t wait to jump into this mech suit when it drops, out there looking like Bumblebee in his Prime! 🐝. Would be even cooler if users could customize the mech suit w/ different upgrades and stuff.
the most painful is that right now its a game for sweatlords every weapon was nerfed and you have no chance of enjoying this game if youre playing higher difficulty than 6 on 7 you just get swarmed with 8 stalkers and 3 biletitans retreating and running 35 minutes long i´m fckn done with this game
We need a mech with a laser gun. Not even a big one, just maybe a machine gun sized sickle paired with something else that does have limited ammo. That way it doesn't just become a paper weight when it runs out of ammo for the primary. Also, just let us resupply them. By all means, make it time consuming to do so, but let us do it.

@@SwanyPlaysGamesMakes me curious where the majority of the playerbase is from and if they consider the holidays and weekly schedules of the regions with the largest player numbers. Speaking of weekly schedules... You looked at the 1 week scale on Steam Charts and said, "player numbers are still going down" when the majority of that was just a weekly pattern. The peaks were Saturday and Sunday night with a sharp drop on Monday... Might want to look at Steam Charts at a longer scale than a week to get info on overall trends.
Nobody cares that much cause we know how clunky and easily killed the mech will be. This is why nobody uses the first one anymore. They either need to buff the armor/survivability of mechs or give an option to re-arm during battle.
Game suffers from nerfs and the community is also shit because those who use weapons that aren't affected by the nerfs has a weird habbit of going after people who talk about the nerfs.
I hate the "get good" mentality, I don't want to use weapons I don't like. I don't want to pay for a warbond only to see the weapons I was hyped for made useless. How do people not understand this is frustrating
Game suffers from issues, but the community is great. Those people you speak of.. they are of very small numbers.. they do not represent the community as a whole, nor do they contribute to anything.
Bro this thing looks SICK. They need to give them more health and the ability to replenish ammo. These are almost useless if you've only got like 20 shots, hoping they make them OP for that 2x use and 10 minute cool down
I do not understand nerfs. I was told only to buff to make people happy. If something is weak, buff it. Do not nerf everything down to its level. If something feels like a chore or frustrating to do/feeling unfair I don't want anything to do with it. If you take out the fun of a game, I don't want to play the game.
I’ll come back one day if Sony lets those 170 countries back in and the stupid balancing decisions stop. It’s co-op, not pvp. I don’t care if things are unfair for the legions of non-player, killer robots and bugs.
My friend and I got the game a few days ago and we’ve been having a blast and then last night my right trigger shit itself so I’ve returned to civilian life for a while 😢
I'm personally gonna use it because i love the mechs Even if they may suck. But I'm pretty sure many won't use it that much at the slightest due to how frail the mechs can be at times and the nerfs.

I’m done playing any major order that involves having to fight bots. Also, the game just isn’t fun anymore, and the overall content isn’t there and won’t arrive in time to save the player population.
Well, at least this major order could potentially persuade most divers to going after the Bots since most have been paying too much attention towards the Bugs, allowing the bots to further expand their territory & put one of the freshly built academies at risk.
Why even bother contributing to the order if its statistically impossible to win. We fight the same 6 biomes using subpar weapons, with mediocre strategems being dripfed to us once every blue moon. The game won't see 2025 with the route its going.

Lol! Helldivers are barely holding 60 thou players and its still dropping. No one wants to log on for a mech that's gonna get nerfed into the ground 2 days later. To fight in a game where most of the weapons feel like shit and still no balance patch in sight. The old mech is complete garbage why would we want a new one?
I was excited for this 2 months ago, now, I couldn't really care less if we complete the Major Order or not. I'm not really playing HELLDIVERS 2 anymore, with the Sony controversy, the dogsh*t new Warbond, and the overall lack of new content, I don't really have a reason to stay invested right now.
I'm new so I've been playing the last four days straight, and i was there to see the major order tick over from 99%. So how do we get the new Exo Suit?
@@mr.s9783 guard dog rover 30 less effective. Quasar. Railgun. Shotguns. Mech rockets are awful now. Buffed explosion resistance on bots too so what and how exactly is buffed?
@@mr.s9783 Three guns versus how many buffed? All assault rifles, 2/3 breakers, all three punishers before one got a stagger nerf so 2/3, 1/2 laser rifles, 2/2 marksman rifles, 3/5 pistols (other two haven’t been touched), neither smg has been touched, Arc shotty buffed, jar buffed. That’s the majority of the weapons. You can point to sickle mag nerf all you like but you are clearly exaggerating.
We have failed the last three orders in a row. Trying to fight against bots = getting swarmed by 20+ attack ships and getting one-shot by lasers from across the map. It's not quite fun.
@@arizonaanalog389 Spawn rates are confirmed as being broken for less than 4 players, and shooting down a dropship is absolutely not consistent with destroying all the bots onboard.
We all stopped playing because Helldivers 2 is stale; Most of us want a 3rd faction, NOT playing against automatons for every major order. Sony only seems to care about PSN, and ArrowHead is only focusing on making the game harder, making armors with identical stats, and releasing unremarkable/nerfed weapons & stratagems. There are NO new enjoyable maps nor game modes. Lots of COMPLETED stratagems & vehicles are in game files but arrowhead is stretching their releases just so that they wouldn't have to produce more content.
Except the respawn rate on this planet is beyond joke, game is incredibly difficult, and no fun at all, and active player dropped below 50k. Seems like we will fail this order too.
Until they get their shit together and figure out that they need to scale MOs to current player levels, we're going to keep failing. And more people will stop playing.
Personally think it'd be awesome if they make the Mechs more similar to the ones from the Avatar movies. Give me the option for two arms and hands with which i can wield ridiculously large guns OR have mounted firing platforms like they have atm. Maybe even let me punch a bug or bot to death. Maybe make them lightly customisable even. They need to play with truly balls to the wall ridiculous ideas like imagine if you could make your mech have a huge shoulder artillary that simulates a precision strike strategem, but requires your mech to take a stationary "mortar" firing stance. The current one and even this new one just doesn't seem all that interesting to me.
If Arrowhead wants me back they can undo every weapon "rebalance". It's PvE not PvP, balance should be throw oit the window for Rule of Cool. Every. Fucking. Time.
The only thing that can save this mech from beign NOT hot garbage is if it can tank some damage. If not it dosnt matter if it has 10 auto cannons its garbage
The fact that divers can only use the new stratagems "after" completing the major order which doesn't really gonna pull hype that much ngl I think it's better if we can use the new ones when we are trying to accomplish the major order. (But that's just my opinion because right now I'm just bored playing the game and never even completed any personal order after that sony drama)
My friend group have all stopped playing due to the primary weapons feeling trash. Doesnt matter what stratagem they add, primary's still feel like trash

Un-nerf everything that was nerfed and stop taking away a stratagem slot when fighting bots. Who on Super Earth thought that making bots HARDER was the right move???
any kind of vehicle in a game like this is just lame to me and just a hassle to use, also not contributing to any orders until they buff some of my favorite weapons back ... havent played the game for a few weeks now but still waiting for a miracle
I haven’t played in like 2 weeks now. Honestly just lost interest after the nerfs to things I enjoyed. Not saying the game sucks now or trying to be bitter, I’m just not a fan of being sold on something like the eruptor (which I bought and really enjoyed) becoming a not-so-fun weapon. I think the “balancing” team has done some damage to the player count.
I wanna let people know that orders mean absolutely nothing. Also this mech suit is gonna suck, slower rate of fire and the rockets that are gonna be weaker than what the current mech suit rockets do…
I don’t get why people are crying about nerfs. The meta was so boring and the game was easy even on Helldiver mode. Glad they are making stuff less OP so it’s more of a challenge and everyone is not just using railgun+shield and trying out new things. Just get gud.
If this order fails theyre gonna need to rethink how they release "content" because no one likes losing ESPECIALLY when that means a delay in new content in an already stale game.
Good job using the word "Nerf" 100% totally out of context. The Patriot Mech suit wasn't "Nerfed" they just changed how the Rocket Launcher works cus people kept blowing themselves up with it and did it POORLY! They really need to give a Second Aiming circle for the Rocket Launcher now cus aiming that thing is Awkword as hell.
@@SwanyPlaysGames Did they? Oh yeah THAT.... I honestly don't even think that has any impact considering how HARD the rockets are the aim in the first place now. Nailing Direct hits with the rocket launcher isn't hard, AT LONG RANGE. At close range its a royal pain in the ass. They really need to add a second aiming circle for the Rocket Launcher or something.
