If you play automatons you should give the smoke grenades a try they kinda got an indirect buff with the line of sight fix they did this patch probably one of the best picks for automatons rn they usually stop shooting when you use a smoke for cover and it lasts a while too so you can get to a safe distance it's super good combined with the jump pack
What I think would be a cool change and give more options for the gernade launcher is to give it programmable ammo like the auto cannon or recoiless rifle got. Or if not for it to use the type of grenade that our helldivers chose
So you want it to shoot Thermites? Or throwing knifes? I get what you mean, but it should just be impact, incen impact, gas impact and stun impact. Plus any other impact variants they add in the future. Except ahitty smoke
Just an exception for thermite and throwing knives yeah they won't work but if would also be cool if they added different type of rounds for the grenade launcher other then the grenades that we already have . It's real life counter part has low medium and high velocity rounds they even have a round called the hedp with has a airburst capability
My favorite loadout as of late for bugs is blitzer,grenade pistol,G-10 incendiary. For Stratagems: quasar cannon, Ar-23 guard dog, gas strike, and eagle napalm. I get so many kills with this loadout it's insane. Got 1,000 kills the other day
