And more importantly it kills more enemies that way. Dropship explodes bigger. Only tanks and big walkers survive I think.

Was playing yesterday and used RR on a dropship with a fabricator. The fabricator died.

Fun fact, that's not new. We just never had reliable ways to down a dropship swiftly before this update. My friends and I did 4x recoilless on bots as a meme run several times. We would time our shots and all hit a drop ship's fuselage. They did exactly what you're talking about.

Sometimes the jammers don't have an attached fabricator, then it's sad hours

Before nerf, was the commando. Post patch, quasar could do it.

Problem is that there isn't always an attached fabricator.

There's only one jammer layout that has a fab close enough to blow the jammer

I dont understand why they dont do that with every weapon. Normal weapons : Shows ammo count in the magazine left either numerical or a bar Laser cannons : Shows heat level Railgun : Shows charge bar Its just an objectively better way to do do HUD than looking at left corner mid-fight. Either way, you can make it opt in, opt out, make it smaller or bigger with a scale from 0% to 100%

@@jamestillman5247 For railgun its frame is pretty small in 3rdpov so its hard to see the charge up meanwhile Quasar gets a pass because it is huge so its easier to see the charge up.

They buffed the health of heavy enemies to compensate for the AT buffs. I don't understand why they did this. The AMR and the HMG take longer to kill cannon turrets. Also the hulk heatsinks require more damage from weapons that aren't AT to kill as compared to before the update. They still have work to do

@@lordepichax3755Ahh I see. If Turrets and the like weren’t so dang annoying I wouldn’t even be complaining all that much. But getting snipped across the map at any given moment really blows. Heat sinks should be weak spots. If you flank and get the angle, we should be rewarded as such. 90% of the time, they will have their frontal armour facing us a anyways.

Tbf it makes sense an enemy with a giant shield would use the giant shield

@@caius6019 Yes, I thought the same thing but it ain’t fun. It’s a really weird mechanic and is likely a Bug/ oversight than an intended feature. Weapons like the Railgun, AMR, Autocannon and Laser Cannon etc… are way more effective at taking out Heavy Devastators and the like whilst offering more versatility than the MG-43. So it seems kinda weird that they would nerf an already underwhelming and underutilized weapon in this manner.

All of my matchmaking has been quick. The trick is, if matchmaking gets stuck on “searching for SOS beacons” or some such message, hit R key twice to restart the search. It should get you a game immediately.

That's just how bots are plus he is wearing light armor so he dies a LOT faster, i only use heavy so i can take more risks and not insta die

@@Crimnox_Cinder it works a bit, you're still prone to getting destroyed by laser hulks and devastators if you run in a parallel line in front of them. Gotta run to the sides or zigzag or those shots will all line up on your ass.

@@EIHuevoCosmic the bots are massively inconsistent with regards to their accuracy. One minute they are as accurate as a narcoleptic with cerebral palsy, then the next minute they have the accuracy of the White Death!

Gotta use heavy armor with extra padding or explosive resist.

Players used to play railgun on safe mode when it 1 shotted bile titans and refused to use it when it got nerfed so no wonder they're surprised about it exploding on unsafe mode.

Don't know about the factory striders tho the reemforced striders have a pretty big weakspot. Just shoot at the rockets if they are not fired. They will explode and kill it, works for all primeries but the higher the dmg and armor pen the lower bullets it'll take

​@@alphatito868 harder to do when 5 of them get on you firing rockets while getting flinched by other enemies. They need an easier weakspot for light pen

@@lordepichax3755 so i played a few rounds yesterday and it seems that the rockets are the light pen weekspot. They usually don't roket barrage you right away so it is doable. On a cluster of said enemy i'll just use contact granades or orbital support since most of the time there are hulks or heavy devestators among them so its easier to deal with the enemy is fine as it is. I don't know your exact loadouts but if you struggle with them prioretise them. Thats what i do with heavy devestators hate them so much that this is the first to die on sight because that mob is the one that kills me in 90% of my deaths on the automatons

I think they adjusted stuff we've been complaining about for a while. Hardened scout striders haven't been around enough to earn the reputation the rocket devastators have. I'd prefer the rocket devastators, but I am also a Veteran of Malevelon so I guess I'm kinda used to fighting the robotic menace

Scout striders still one-shot me through heavy armor + shield with no telegraphed missile attack. Fun times

@@TheYungDyrude I was at the jammer terminal, saw its shots miss me, and before jt even made the firing sound i dove backwards. The rpg hit the jammer and the splash one shot me from full. Thats when it clicked that im not tweakin they DO really need a nerf. Edit. The missile also made no sound even when it exploded

If you hate those guys, try out the Railgun. That thing deletes them, doesn’t even need max charge. Just overcharging a little or using Safe mode is still enough to 1-shot them

Yep, Arrowhead can not help themselves, they NEED to nerf the player or buff the enemies, it's built into their DNA or something.

@@TehFishey Sometimes they miss a lot, but other times you get hit consecutively and instantly die from 1 bot. And that’s not even an uncommon occurence

@@MutedAndReported3032 I mean, that's kinda just the nature of RNG though? Even with extremely inaccurate shots, when you regularly get into situations where *that* much stuff is being thrown at you at once, you're inevitably going to be unlucky sometimes. This would remain true even if AH coded the bots to intentionally try to *miss*. And because it's extremely frustrating, those particular moments are memorable and stick out; nevermind that you're probably getting shot at (and missed) constantly for more than 2/3 the duration of any given bot mission. The bots are *extremely* inaccurate right now - moreso than they have been for most of the game's history. I agree that this game still has many balance problems and frustrations, but this particular one just ain't it.

Reinforced striders rockets, hulk bruisers cannon, they didn't reduce collision force still ragdoll even in cover.

The ragdoll itself isn’t worse, but everything does more damage so it’s deadlier to get ragdolled

the recoilless is baller, but i find that the railgun is a nice sweet spot for dif 10 when you turn a corner and get to meet 20 striders, 4 devastator patrols, a dropship full of hulks, and a tank unit. With recoilless, you can target and destroy individual high value enemies easily, but you cannot deal with the medium armor spam. Often, airstrikes etc. just arent enough to handle all of them

Dagger, Senator, & grenade pistol all have their strong suits. Dagger is great with devastators because it won't flinch them to block your headshot, and it can quickly detonate the jetpacks on raiders. Senator is a great fallback with it's medium pen and the power of the Arizona ranger's big iron. Grenade pistol is great utility. What I like to do with the beserkers is to unload into center of mass and run...

Yes and no. Many weapons got buffed, making it easier to kill stuff, but you take more damage from everything (minus headshots), making it way harder to stay alive, since you die in max. 3 shots from anything. Hunter slaps you twice - dead. Even with medium armor

As someone who uses light armor exclusively i haven't noticed to much changed

​@ethanpeeples6187 u take 15% more damage, with a 25% damage reduction to headshots. However the bots are way more inaccurate than they used to be

me not playing the game doesn't change much of anything. piratesoftware who's a MASSIVE content creator stopped playing this game and yet helldivers 2 is doing fine.

Ya kiddin? No deaths on any difficulty is easy and boring, just run away, throw strategems, hide, repeat. Fighting them's more fun, and having a couple of deaths here and there isn't the meat of the issue.
