This was much harder to pull off than I thought it would be. All automatons can easily one shot you and standing still to shoot back will likely get you killed without using cover. A careful, stealthy playstyle is needed for this kind of challenge, though I did get aggressive a few times in this attempt when necessary.
I haven't seen anyone do this with the new Quasar Cannon (very fun weapon!) so I thought I'd give it a go. It's an extremely good support weapon that can destroy dropships and fabricators. I used it more for utility than for getting kills, though it can absolutely be used both ways. Dangerous enemies like Hulks can be taken out safely if you charge it behind cover and peek out to fire at the last moment.
