Yeah I personally bought the game because I'm being sober and saving money so instead of going to the bar I asked my wife if I could splurge on this because the last game I ever bought was hell let loose so it's been a min and no regrets@@saltyprocrastinator
The Meth dude….. I guarantee he wasn’t kidding when he said he was gonna go and smoke some meth after the match. The way he kept going on about everything he’d seen recently through social media and his personal experiences as of late is exactly what a tweaker does online while gaming lol. Been there done that. 😂
Idk he didn’t talk fast and kinda broken up(?) like a tweaker. Just bs’ing about dumb shit like the old days bro he sounded like he was 5 seconds from lighting a blunt lol
@@halostormx7827 If you're not good at the game and need a meta build that's understandable. But some of us prefer if each player has their own Roles. This is a Cooperative game, not Call of Duty.
@@FutaCatto2 why wouldn't anyone use the most effective tactic available? Go on, use off meta and claim you're good at the game. Just because we use meta doesn't mean we're bad.
This is why the game is so amazing and popular, there is no competition between players, and cooperation is actively encouraged through several of the game mechanics.
Playing last night, I set it on easy so I could level. I was playing single player and two guys jumped on. They were both unmuted and joking around. One was a brand new player who had just bought the game. I was strafing Automatons with the Machinegun and the guy was just cracking up as I mowed down a wave. Then one of his buddies jumped on and they ran to the Extraction point and called in the Pelican. I was just mowing down enemies and they were taking a few shots. I began my retreat while firing and they were back at the landing screwing around and laughing. I finally ran out of ammo and ran back to join them and got some ammo dropped. They were actually still hiding behind barriers as I engaged targets. I ended up getting killed and they took off in the Pelican, leaving me behind. They were still laughing and talking in the background. I finally said "if you guys want to level up, you'll need to fire your weapon." That was it, they both just lost it.
Grats on the 100k Husk, glad to see you reach that milestone and I'm hoping the hype around Helldivers 2 introduces your humour to a far bigger audience. I love seeing my favourite channels grow and get the recognition they deserve.
It’s always a treat when I spawn in with fellow divers who want to actually communicate. It’s so rare though I always send friend requests to the ones who do. I find more of the PS5 players want to talk.
I spent so much time getting together a nice soundboard and an hour getting the mix on my Yeti just right and found that maybe 1/5 games had someone else talking... so upsetting.
unfortunately voice comms can be annoying in this game. so many mouthbreathers with a mic stand and no headphones just blaring the ingame sounds over audio while loudly chewing cheetos and jerky with their mouths open
Haven’t had that issue yet, but today I realised I may be one of those people when I realised there was a sound icon next to my name whenever I made a noise. It must have been using my webcam’s mic or something.
Huska I just started watching all your videos. You inspired me to play hell at loose and man you are hysterical. I really enjoyed these videos. You crack me up. I really enjoyed this one. Those guys from Mexico were really cool that’s good stuff. I’m have to try that game out! Keep up the great vibes man!
I usually use discord to communicate with my friends in-game, but whenever I play with random fellows, the game has so many mechanics to facilitate it without speaking. It's amazing how well built this game is.
That dudes not lying about Canada giving drugs out now ahahaha, that would totally be me in a lobby just flapping the gums. Ends it with “time to go smoke some methamphetamine”
The best part of Helldivers 2 is when you do an entire mission, have a full load, are standing on the platform, then you get murdered, all your stuff stolen and then kicked from the game. BEST GAME EVER!
Awesome video man! First time viewer of you videos. I have always loved joining randoms online in games. My friends hate it and usually make the server/lobby friends only. I met one of my best friends online back in the day during the Xbox 360 days. I bought a random used game at Blockbuster (Crackdown) and hoped on thinking no one would be playing this game in co op. Then I heard the "Hello?" We have been good friends, almost family since then. Him and his wife even came from Arizona (I'm in Ontario, Canada) to my wedding! He would of been my best man only it was obviously too hard from him to do anything for the wedding that far away. I think that's why I've always liked joining randoms in game. You just never know...
Hell, I just got really wasted and gave the toast. Was I supposed to do something else...? Wait, I did carry a case of water up a goddamn hill and it nearly killed my back, so maybe that counts. Wholesome story, though, man. Good to know you found someone super cool online! :)
Bunker Artillery shell, you're a husk of what your great grandfather was. You Soldiers of the Future make me Question what we were really fighting for in Stalingrad
Same experience on my end. I’m actually a bit antisocial and it depends on my mood, but I’ve joined some groups that were talkative and before I knew it, we were all laughing and working really well together and then you get some groups where no one says a word, and it feels completely different. Communication really is the key even with randoms.
I always have problems speaking with players on online games most of the time. I liked games that most men do, I was a little girl who grew up with Halo, god I miss those days. As an adult, I still get harassed just for being a girl, I will say only one word for the whole match or play session and they tell me to shut up and (insert make a sandwich or kitchen quote here). I end up having the most fun playing games alone but I always wanted to play co-op games, some require to be co-op only or online like It Takes Two. Since I was a major old Halo fan, I got helldivers 2 to try it out. At the time, I didn't know a way to play solo and even if I did, it can get pretty tough. The game really encourages cooperation with a team. I ended up in some games with people and I stayed silent for most of them. There was a point that one person has to be on the control panel, and the other has to be turning the satellite dish. I was on the panel and there was no way to tell the other person which way to turn it so I turned on my mic for a moment to let them know. They responded with a thank you and it gave me a boost of encouragement to speak more. Last night I was playing and I got in a group that had all open mics, all dudes. There was a guy who had the stores armor set that looked like a reference to Fallout New Vegas. I had to ask if he picked those sets for that purpose and he responded with yea. We both started chatting about fallout for a bit while the rest were gearing up. Me and that group played for 5 matches before we split up. There was one guy who was constantly obsessed with samples, to the point that if one of us died, he would ask where we died so he could collect those samples we dropped. He was so determine that he ran across the map to grab some samples and run back even tho we were running out of time on the mission. He did make it, what a mad lad. We cracked a few jokes about it here and there. Everyone was chill, friendly. I miss playing with those cool dudes. I have been playing the game for days and not ONCE have i ran into someone that was toxic, not just with voice chat but game play too. Even tho there was friendly fire, I haven't seen people purposely kill each other for there own fun. This is the first online game I have played that I feel included and welcomed. I don't have to worry about hiding my voice and getting constantly bullied for nothing. Not to mention that game itself is super fun and the devs are amazing, the community is amazing.
Probably the best feeling I get when joining randos is when I matched up with teams that don't really know each other at all but everyone somehow has good teamwork with minimal communication, mostly just using map tagging. I got one where we go in and everyone just covers each others back and we ended up not using reinforcement at all and another where we all just go in, do all the objectives and blowing up outposts and just fight enough to clear the path to the next objective so we just constantly have bugs on our tail but because we all make sure to check our surrounding we ended up not using any reinforcement
I just played this the other day.... havent played anything online since 2011 (skyrim).... and the guys in my first lobby played with me for 2 hours straight all with mics. Felt really good im glad people are still nice to noobs.
Theres something about joining random lobbies and just having fun with randoms. You hop into one lobby and then log off just to never see them again. I have so many moments with randoms that I just cant get with my friends.
