That's what I was thinking about. If Alan Rickman was still alive, he might be Frollo for this live-action Disney is working on.

If Judge Turpin actually sang this would be his song. And if a live action version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame was made Alan Rickman would've been the best choice for Live Action Judge Frollo if he was still alive.

Well I feel that since he’s sadly dead, the best choice is Ian McKellen (the voice of Gandalf and The Toad from Flushed Away).

This is so perfect, Judge Turpin is the Tim Burton version of Judge Claude Frollo in my opinion!

Judge Turpin likely went into the truly irredeemable Frollo for Disney’s version of the story. The nicer aspects were put into David Odgen Steyers’ Archdeacon. I am surprised I haven’t encountered an AMV with this crossover sooner, or Disney HoND with Sweeney Todd songs. Rest In Peace, Alan Rickman and Tony Jay.

There is a Judge Turpin Version of the song Johanna that was cut from a lot of stage versions and the movie, and it really reminds me of Hellfire

I was so angry about what he did to Lucy. I hate that even in movies, women are still assaulted or not. And it’s both in real life and filmography. Which is why I have this to say about it: “ some of you men are filthy, filthy dogs; and we women are NOT chew toys for you.”
