Heads up that Bobby Mackey’s is being torn down at the end of the year. They are rebuilding on the same site. We are investigating on the 26th as one of the last groups through. Wondering if the activity will be amped up with the news of the demolition.

I've had dreams like Katrina too, but only with close family and friends. I've also had dreams that are a snap shot of what I consider a past life. And indeed when I was meditating a lot more and a lot longer, it seemed to happen more often. I never made that connection before, but definitely worth exploring!
Best episode! I love hearing recaps from the episodes. To hear what was going on and why is always interesting. I think when it comes to using occult methods (ie blood and the ouija board) in worship or rituals immediately our minds go right into a bad place because of we have been conditioned to think it’s bad. In other (older) religions, this was a normal practice. Using blood in a ritual was seen as leaving an offering/sacrifice (personal blood letting was seen as a more important sacrament). To find out that the guy didn’t have a reaction at the location, is interesting. Wow! I would love to hear more about Kat working with Lorraine Warren. Kat, you need to do an episode or a video about your experience with her. I would love to hear more. I would also love to hear how the Ghost Hunting in Ireland went.
Jack , I think spirit and thought are waves with varying frequencies relaying information that our brains interpret . We’re always going to filter it through our personal filter . That’s inspiration , but it’s also possession and addiction . I think you should ask Dr Drew to test the brainwaves of different people with Tyler Henry , test both of them as they react and yourself the viewer , do the same with addicts and musicians and the viewer . See if they interact and how . ❤
I dont think ghosts are real I stayed at a haunted hotel in Bridgeport CA by myself, for 3 nights a few doors down from the most haunted room in the building and slept great. BUT some locations are cool because of the preserved history, older buildings layouts really take you back to a ''simpler'' time of wagons and dirt roads and you can feel that energy I suppose because were not used to huge airy rooms, houses and such nowadays are so closed quarters our attention have been thrown out of whack. The John Muir house in the Bay Area is a great example, though its not haunted.
Hey guys, as I was watching the episode about the Kasha the picture of the lady and baby were being chased. I couldn't help but wonder if maybe it's like a Japanese version or something like Christianity version of Adam and Eve. You know Eve's curiosity of the tree of life is to blame. What I hate is when the cameras on Jack and then he sees something once or twice and the camera is still on Jack's face not what he's looking at. I almost wish you a GoPros on your heads

As a young child I had a dream my parents called me in from playing, sat me down by the fireplace and told me they were getting divorced. In my dream I was wearing this outfit with ice cream cones. I hid the outfit behind some pipes in the basement. A couple weeks later I was getting dressed and my mom hadn't done laundry. She pulled out the ice cream outfit and made me wear it. ( she never said anything about finding it) 2 hours later she called me in, my parents sat me down by the fireplace and said they were getting divorced, just like in my dream....
I have kind of the same thing, Except it's the dead that visit me in my dreams. It was really scary at first. But it's how I get to still see my mom and sister.🧡🌙
I also had that same kind of experience without the dress….. the dream was so vivid that I was in the living room and heard a song by Gary Pucket and the Union Gap Band called “ You better sit down Kids”…, I’m telling you why, your mom and dad, kids don’t see eye to eye { First lines to that song}. I busted out crying and my mom asked me what was wrong!! They promised me that it wasn’t true, yet they did get divorced years later!! It was like foreshadowing!! But, yeah I can say that I can definitely relate!! Great conversation with Kat and Jack and they do have a great friendship that truly develops over the course of the first season!! It was a great collaboration and I miss them doing investigations!!! It seems like when other paranormal shows become very popular, the Travel Channel has cancelled them…. I wonder why…. Cough cough!! May be ZB’s ego?!?!!

Gutted that they are going to demo Bobby Mackey's! My grandpa had wild stories about that place from his days as a fireman that made him a believer and I had my own unsettling experience there in my 20s. Definitely a loss to the paranormal community and I wonder what impact the demo will have on neighboring buildings and the land.
Love this podcast, and especially these episode breakdowns. It's always interesting to me to hear where people are coming from where the paranormal is concerned. I've had a couple of experiences myself in my 40 years. I'm a Christian (non catholic) so it's been difficult to kind of reconcile the experiences with my beliefs. I've come to the conclusion that at least one of my experiences (which really consists of a bunch of experiences all related) was/is demonic in nature. In that instance my wife and I were staying in Biloxi at this little inn that was said to be haunted so we thought it would be fun to buy a ouija board and mess around with it. The planchette definitely moved, and I know I didn't move it... she swears she didn't either. We didn't know anything about a ouija board and broke a lot of the "rules" which I'm told left us open to things. And sure enough, it does seem we gained an attachment that followed us and haunted us pretty aggressively for the better part of two years. I was in the military at the time and the experiences occurred at more than one duty station. My wife experienced more of it because she was always home. Neither of us are crazy people lol... I was an air traffic controller at the time and worked crazy shifts 6 days on and 1 off. But I personally experienced latched doors opening on their own... our cat would back into corners and clearly follow something with her eyes... then her hair would stand on end and she'd run from the room. She growled at whatever it was that she was seeing one time. At the height of the activity we had what most would consider "poltergeist" events. We'd wake up in the morning with various items in the bed next to us, neatly arranged. My wife's grandmother came to visit us and got pissed and left early because she swore up and down we were playing pranks on her in the middle of the night to scare her, and we had no idea what she was talking about. We eventually opened up about the experiences to a friend who happened to be catholic and she ended up getting her priest involved. He just came and said a blessing over us, our home, and used holy water in each room of the house. The activity definitely cooled after that, but we've still had weird little things happen everywhere we've ever lived. We just no longer pay it any mind as they say giving it attention may feed it and make it stronger. 🤷♂ Although it doesn't seem malevolent, I say demonic because we never had any issues before the ouija board, and because this isn't something that occurred in one specific place but something that has been ongoing and has followed to at least 6 different states and 10 different homes. I don't know what it is in all honesty but that initial experience with my friend's priest absolutely seemed to take it down a notch, and I've since prayed over it myself with positive results, so while some may not believe in the spiritual or religious aspect of the paranormal, there certainly seems to be something to it.
At the apartment I live in now, One day I had an overwhelming sense of sadness and was crying intensely like a baby all day. And during this, I had been sitting at my computer and the chair just lifted off the ground a couple of inches. Another time I had my cell camera watching towards my apt. door because I thought the maintenance guy was coming in while I was gone. When I checked the video there were dozens of Orbs floating around, all different sizes. There is surely a paranormal world.
I remember when I was 20 years old and my grandfather was in ICU and my mother,her dister snd two brothers were there. They kept talking about how he'd be fine because he'd hada good report from the Dr that afternoon. They only allowed,2 people at a time to go in to see him my mother was in front of me. When I looked at him, I saw him plain as day, lying in a coffin and flowers all around him. I had to leave the room and my uncle went in. My aunt, uncles and mom were talking the rest of the night about how much better he was doing because he was only 61. I didn't tell them what I saw,even after he died. But he died the next afternoon. I've told my sons as adults,but never said a word to any of my immediate family. My kids are more open minded about things like that.
I can relate. I think I'm a bit of a sensitive, plus figured out that I had an attachment from playing with a Ouija board when I was about 9. I never told my family about any of that because I was afraid that they would think I was crazy. Flash forward until I was 55 and I finally told my sisters and brother about it. Turns out my brother and 1 sister also had a lot of paranormal experiences. I guess it runs in the family.
I remember watching a show called A Haunting and it was terrifying when Carl found the well and a head popup when he look down that was crazy and the most terrifying episode was the Summerwind one when they found a box containing scripters and it disappear and the husband stay in that mansion until he left and it got burned down.
Only once I had a dream that actually happened. Normally when I dream it’s just weird and makes no sense. One night I had the most vivid dream of my grandparents farm. It was like I was really there. I was standing in the yard and my grandfather who had passed away came over and said let’s go fishing. We got to the pond and he said I’m coming to take your grandma with me. I’m not the type to overreact but when I woke up I was worried something had happened to her. I called my mother and told her about the dream. She called her mother and she was fine. Then 6 months later she had a car accident and after several weeks in icu she was gone. My mom remembered my dream and mentioned it. She then got upset her dad came to me and not her 🤦🏻♀️
Bobby Mackey's is closed (or closing), and they are going to demolish it! 😳 My dad was a friend of Bobby's, and Bobby recorded a couple of Dad's songs in the 90s. My parents and sister went there to hear him one night, they said it was a bizarre place indeed. I always wanted to go, but too late now.
I drove by earlier this year, and it was unfortunately closed. So, I drove around back ,and I had to piss so bad I almost went behind it until I happened to notice a security camera! Haha so glad I didn’t bc of that and also bc i might’ve been cursed! 😉

Rumors are flying that Bobby is retiring & they are going to knock down the club. Then I read that he’s moving to Mugbees Club in Florence KY for 6 mos. while Bobby Mackey’s under goes renovations. What do you guys know? Maybe Ozzy could buy it? 👻
I went to a Bridal Shower there once. It was a private party. It was closed. The place is weird. Toilets were flushing by themselves and water facets were coming on by themselves. ( This was back in the day before motion detection.) You could really feel it. Yes the place is really scary.
I go back to watching Geraldo in 92 when he had Bobby & Janet, along with Carl & his Rev. Carl had the exorcism in 91. From what I remember Carl was always attracted to the place. Had worked there before as a teenager when it was under another name. He was very helpful to both Bobby & Janet. Show didn’t pop up again till some random one off ghost shows. 2006 The Haunting & them GA & GH investigated.
First, you don't have a weird sense of humor. That's normal or I'm much stranger than you. Second, it's interesting to see TV personalities talking about how places get hyped up with all these crazy stories, only to get there and not have an experience. I'm an environmental science major with a lot of other experience in this field and I'm hoping people like you will start trying to use real science. The pseudoscience on TV is giving people who want to study using real science for paranormal events a bad name. I know that is your fault but you could speak up to it. With that said, I'm a huge fan of both of you. I try to watch as many videos of both of yours when I'm not studying. I hope you both continue to research these odd and strange things. Hopefully one day we will run into each other. Cheers!
@jackosbourne I have a great show idea. How about investigating a place that you are not given any info on and are blindfolded the entire time. Then document the entire experience. That way your not over shadowed by stories of the location or experiences ahead of time. Then document your true feelings of the location. I'd love to see a medium do that as well.

I swear you guys help me focus while I'm working, listening to your podcasts & Bailey Sarian, I'm visual so youtube podcast's are perfect when I'm doing boring work, you guys keep me focused (yeah I know I'm weird) plus I love listening to you 2 go back & forth. Jack you & Kelly are absolutely sensitive, although I think Kelly is a medium. Katrina, been watching u since Paranormal State & you are absolutely sensitive at the very least an empath, and probably could be a medium with work. Keep up the awesomeness!

OMG! I just found this and I am so excited! I love Jack and Katrina working together! I've been meditating since I was little, my mother taught me because I have major anxiety issues. Working on your third eye will help with lucid dreaming.🧡🌙
They are tearing down Bobby Mackeys in order to rebuild it. I'm guessing that is really going to stir up the paranormal there. However, it will definitely help with the stale cigarette smell (I hope).
