+Avocado Face Faison is my least favorite too, but she really earned brownie points for sticking up for the woman. I was like YAS GIRL DRAG HIM! I love she's my favorite in sistar so the fact she felt sensitive with this situation really touched my heart. I love how the members of SISTAR aren't afraid to speak their minds. The second concern scares me. What kind of family thinks it's okay to treat someone like this? Even the little sister...Idk, something about all of them screams jealousy, I refuse to believe they treat him the way they do just because they think he's ugly. The guy has better skin and hair than all of them and has a good personality. What kind of mother allows an older brother to treat a younger brother like this? She knows he can't do much about it, and let's his younger sister think it's okay to disrespect her older brother like that. If I were in him I'd put that little girl in her place...I'm thinking of my younger siblings and cringing, that level of disrespect will not pass under any circumstance.

*Agreed! It’s ruined my mood the fact they find it funny🇰🇷Raise their children in competition with their friends whom have kids, who’s kids are good looking (🇰🇷Beauty standards, not Global standards) who’s daughter is closest to skin & bone! Who has best grades, best job, highest salary, who’s children are married etc. hence the viscous cycle keeps repeating with generations. They watch their parent(s) behave this way, so they start acting that way also with their peers, siblings etc - you’ll notice jealousy is very common & it’s nothing to be proud of. It’s 2024 & they still argue there’s nothing wrong with adults touching minors private parts! It’s because they really care & love them & are family/friends! Even if the minors say - Don’t do this they do it more. They care about maintaining the fake smokescreen to fool the world in thinking they take respect very seriously, rather than rightfully being concerned with such behaviours. Is it bad I just can’t tolerate it? will never say any of this is ok 🤦🏻‍♀️Take care & stay safe, much love from 🇬🇧🙏♥️*

from what i saw and learn, most Koreans tend to concerned about outer beauty. even when you want to get a job, I've heard this saying, "looks come first, skill comes second" ugh. no matter how skilled or genius you are, look always comes first (most industries in korea). i rlly x1000 don't understand this beauty standard AT ALL. How unfair. I've always want a brother and i would want the little brother to be my older brother. that lil sister have to be grateful to hv a brother

Younger brother is not ugly at all, he looks so manly and seems genuinely nice, which makes him even more attractive. The older brother may apparently be handsome based on Korean standards, but his personality is ugly which makes him so unattractive. I didn't find anything interesting about the older brother at all. The younger brother just needs to have a bit more confidence, and he will shine on his own. I feel like the family members just put younger brother down because he actually would outshine his older brother if he had more confidence. Don't change younger brother, be who you are.

agree. i think the biggest problem lies on their family, their mother in particular. if she didn't tried to compare her children and keep loving both of her children without saying one is much better than the other one, i think the younger brother will feel more confidence. his brother may look better physically in their young days but now the younger brother looks more charming.

I loved how one of the hosts laughed when the mum said that the older son could be an actor because he can memorise things easily like wtf😹😹 I get you have to be able to memorise things to become an actor but there's so many actors out there. I doubt all of them are excellent at "memorising things". Talent is something but if you work hard, like memorising, then you can achieve anything.

I know right! Idk why but I smelled something fishy of the older son and the letters thing, kind of like he was lying to defend himself. I'm not trying to jump to conclusions but of course, the younger son wouldn't want to ruin his brother's reputation so he didn't speak any further. I don't think he would be dumb to not read the letters or see the names on a couple of them, at least. And the hosts probably tried to back stuff up quickly with witty comments and suggestions.

I've never thought violence was the solution, but after the first concern. I *TOTALLY* lost it. Like he is so f*cking shameless, I can't believe it. When Chanwoo asked him, *"Have you ever been beaten up out of the blue?"* And he said, I thought that maybe I would be the first one to do the honors. Now I'm scarred forever, because before this video my sanity was intact, and I never thought such people existed just as I thought about fairies. But man, from the first concern only, I lost my mind.

Does anyone have any updates on the first concern? I hope she left him. She's pretty, responsible and knows to prioritize, although I get how love can make someone muddle headed, it's not a valid enough reason to stay in such a toxic environment. Especially with a child.

Second concern: I think the problem will never be solved if his family particularly his mom won't change. I mean if his mom won't respect him and accept him how will other siblings accept him nor the people around them? For his brother, I think he should be humble, understand his brother, accept him and be his best friend to always be there for him to cheer him up. Instead he underestimates him. 😏 Poor man it must've been so tough for him being called ugly by his own family, his mom.

There goes the common misconception most Asian Parents make: The more I put down my child (make him upset about himself), the more my child will start to work harder and be motivated. Honestly my thought on all those siblings who try to be rude, disrespectful or mean to their other siblings("for their own good") are considered bullies. When the show first started, I didn’t think anything about the husband’s appearance. He was not all that handsome, but neither was he a bad looking person. The guy was just a “normal guy” _or so I thought. This man is very narcissistic and his distasteful attitude makes him look horrible. He needs to learn how to treat his wife, since he so called “loves her,” as well as his son. Would he want him to grow up thinking it’s okay to mistreat his loved ones? Idk, he seems like he wouldn’t mind.

First concern: he doesnt love her, he loves the idea of someone needing him (but wont provide it anyway) and using someone to put authority on: "you cant go out because youre a mum but i can because im a male" Second concern: you should NEVER put down your child's appearance, let alone discourage their dream. if anything the mum is insulting herself since she stated he looks like her side of the family (this hints that she had surgery too) I honestly think the older bro goes to hang out with young bro bc it boosts his self esteem that the girl young bro is with falls for him for his looks. IMO once you see the ugly personality, you cant unsee the ugliness the older bro has.

I got pregnant at 18 both me & my husband were disowned & we both left with 1 suitcase each! We did all sorts of awful jobs to make ends meet & make sure our baby has everything he/she needed. Fast forward we both got our degrees & masters later than others, we both always had a job (I had 2 weeks after birth off). I’m now a psychology professor, my husband is a doctor, we’ve beeen married 16 years this year, our son is 15 & daughter 12! We have everything & more than we ever dreamed of & the most successful family in both sides of our family’s (They started speaking to us after our son was 2). I think its not just the alcohol that effected his brain. But the fact that he is addicted to going out. Not so much to drinking. But more to the having fun with friends. To him that is the only "happy" time right now in his life. So he will do anything (even pay for everyones drinks) to keep that going. He needs to work on being happy in his relationship and then surely he will feel less need to find happiness elsewhere.

My sis-in-law drinks alcohol like no tomorrow and passes out more than a few times already but she is always back to normal the next day and runs her restaurant well. It's not about the drinking. It's his mentality and his outlook in life. It's evident that both of their parents are still giving them enough money whenever the young couple needs them which is why he thinks there is no need to work. It's pretty common for families who are in middle class who earn enough to spoil their kids. The fact that the parents from both sides didn't come also probably means the parents still have plenty of $$ to give and doesn't find the need to shame themselves even more. The ones that come are the really desperate ones.

The worst thing about the first concern (or the worst thing in reality) is that these type of guys are the biggest jerks and they're still able to have a good girlfriend and get married, but there are sooo many nice and responsible guys out there who are struggling to even get a girlfriend.
