Wow, that 1st concern got my blood boiling. That mother is so selfish, and I swear when the daughter gave her word to her mother I swear the mother wasn't listening, her eyes keeps on moving to the side not caring about what the daughter was saying...aigoo~

I still remember this post about parent-children relationship connected to money. Parents should not blame or feel like its a waste to spend on money on their children because IT WASN'T THE CHILDREN'S FAULT THAT THEY WERE BORN. Spending money on their needs is the parent's RESPONSIBILITY. I don't know why but i see no definite reason why the mother is doing that to her daughter. She is just indirectly telling her daughter that she is a burdensome child.

Exactly...I always stress that fact under concerns with kids. Don't have sex simple.all their doing is emotionally damaging their kids that go into society and other relationships and repeat the same thing. I remember seeing a concern where the guy claim his parents never expressed their love tp him.as his excuse for why his treats his kids badly...that's just ridiculous because two wrongs don't make a right and if you don't plan to nurture and love kids properly, don't have them. The fact the he recognized what he was doing and made no effort to stop or try to change says alot

okay, that Mother in the first concern is hella ridiculous. Its a waste for your daughter to eat? Really? That's just foul. She really needs to straighten up cause her daughter can be just as rude and cold to you when you're old and dependent on her. You never know, she just might hide your medication.

To all the negative replies I would like to say that Hyorin is my bias and I think she is one of the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes on and as for Dasom, soyou, and bora they all have unique and beautiful faces. The girls of sistar each have their own beautful look (they don't look like plastic surgey twins). They HAVE AMAZING BODIES AND FACES. The first one was just astounding how indifferent the mother was to her daughter was i was honestly shocked. The one between the husband and wife was legit tho i found it funny how Soyou and Hyolyn used it as an opportunity to air out their own grievances XD The last one though I understood, it's weird but when she explained they helped her overcome the racism she faced abroad she gained my sympathy...

I hope that daughter with the selfish Mother spends all that money on herself and just hides shit around the house everywhere. I didn't think that last one was a concern, she wasn't hurting anyone. If they were so worried about her they should send her to a real counsellor, she obviously has some real issues she has to talk to with someone. But I guess that's what the show is about (i'll still never get this show...)

My father used to hide things too but he had a rough childhood, growing up without a father and barely had something to eat sometimes, so i guess is kind of a instinctive/traumatic thing and not really a selfish attitude. Thank god now our family is doing well financially and he snapped out of it.

I couldn't even go to the 2nd or 3rd concern bcus how mad I am at the 1st. I honestly really tried to understand the mom, but I simply couldn't and I'm literally mad that no one had anything to say about it. If I was a guest, I would be asking "So why did you have a daughter if she was going to be a waste?!" If I was the daughter I would ask the same thing, fuck leaving a sweet comment. I just can't. I don't get parents like this. If you put yourself first, you're better off being by yourself than dragging someone with you just for convenience sake. If your friend is sitting there saying that your daughter cried to her, as a mother you should no better. aaaahhhh

The daughter is 22 and should be working and supplying food as well as room and board. Unless she's living at home and going to University. Maybe her mom is trying to teach her to be independent and get her own place.

That mother is really frustating, how can she put herself before her daughter and the worst is that she doesn't feel bad over it, I really blame her daughter. That girl talking to her dolls is a concer, if she did it only at home it will be okay. but she even takes them outdoor and gave them a age, a name, what they like to eat,... that's really weird.

I seriously don't have a words to explain how i feel about the 1st concern. She feels its waste to feed her GOD DAMN CHILD!!! The child whom she bought out to this world enduring 9 months of pain... On the top of that, she is her only child.. its not like she has 3 or even 2 children to feed.. One.. just freaking one child and even that is a waste.... I am so glad I have a mother who thinks of feeding me, my brother and her husband before she eat herself. Now I feel very blessed to have a mom who constantly keeps nagging me to eat. I am really scared to say this but I think she is one of those conservative type of asian mom who loves son more than daughter. Coming from an asian country, it is a very typical thing to dot sons and abuse daughters. However this is like 2014... Daughter are equal to son. They can support family just like a son. Hope the girl stay strong and keep eating all those food that her mother keeps hiding!.

I think the last one shows the culture difference between the USA and Korea, here in the states people would think that it's a HUGE concern and that she should seriously get medical help, I mean come on she said she would talk to her dolls at work, people here would distance themselves from people like that, and it could be bad if she relies on the dolls for serious matters instead of trying to speak to someone that can help her.

I feel so bad for girl with that kind of mother. I'm impressed on how she can admit it on tv though. I've seen a lot of mothers like her. Don't say it doesn't exists. There are plenty out there, not all mothers are loving and caring. Be thankful of your caring and loving mother even if she might be annoying or over the top sometimes.

Wooow~ The first concern was really shocking!!! To see a mother thinking of her daughter like that is upsetting to watch... It's almost unbelievable :/ But the second concern was sad too. When the wife felt like her husband belittled her and completely ignoring all of her opinion/preferences :( Both really great concerns... I love Hello Counsellor a lot and I must say, this episode was one of the best that has been aired in a long time. Finally some serious concerns that actually stir the viewers emotion!!!!

Gosh that smartphone quiz was beyond inefficient. She should've asked efficient questions like if they use it for more than 2 hours a day, do they use it when they're on dates/when they're crossing roads/walking in busy areas/at important events etc. Also mad props to KBS for their english subs!

the first concern... utter bullshit. not only does she feel everything her daughter does is a waste/doesn't want her touching her stuff, she even forces her to give her 80% of her pay?!?! and then gives her only such a measly allowance?! then says even if she gets married she won't touch her money.......... idk what this mother is on about. did she not know that being a mother includes all of this? looks liked she doesn't give a shit about anyone other than herself. so why even have a kid if you're not going to care for her and treat her like she's worthless?!?! I'm so fucking angry. there's a saying that roughly translates to treat your family well, and they will be equal. treat them badly, and you'll get it back in karma. this mother is going to regret it when her daughter grows up more

Sistar always looks so pretty and are so engaging in ever story in this episode. That mother is a real witch,probably wanted a son,but got daughter.The daughter needs to move on and find a place of her to live in peace. The husband in the second case is taking advantage of the fact he is older and isn't considerate of his wife at all.But they got some adorable kids. The third guy's girlfriend is like so many today,male & female,they live by their phones than with personal conversations or relationships. Two good looking siblings for the last story.There's nothing wrong with holding on to childhood things such as dolls,etc.,but she is going a bit to far.She seems to prefer her stuffed animals to real people and i think her brother is missing her company.

I LOVE this week concerns. They are so funny. They are not big but relatable because there are many cases in every day life. They are understandable, except the first. The mother is just weird. I can't wrap my head around it at all. She is being selfish. Maybe she was raised that way or traumatised.

I love SISTAR!!!! They're so AWESOME (and sexy).... kekeke, and they're also lovable dorks too! :3 And I found it pretty hilarious that they agreed on everything (like this concern is a concern or vice-versa). When was the last time I remember anyone doing that? Never lol

Children don’t ask to be born into the world. It’s an obligation for a parent who decides to keep their child to raise them the proper way so they can become good members of society. How dare she call her daughter eating a waste.

After watching Hello Counselor every week, I see that they focus on behaviors and what may have triggered a behavior. I know they aren't professionnals, but for guests like that mother on the first concern it's useless to focus on her behavior. We clearly see how rigid her persona is. Instead of focusing on the why's of the behavior. They should have tried asking her : how does she feel when her daughter takes food from her, how does she feel when she has to share, etc. The conversation could have gone deeper than the constant ''it's a waste''. As for the last concern, what ever she went through, her solution was to talk to dolls, which is worrisome thinking how detailed she is about it. Almost feels like a dissociative disorder transfered on those dolls.

GOD i'm really thankful living in a beautiful family, born as the daughter of wise and hardworking parents. And btw i'm even more surprised the daughter doesn't get angry to her mother, if i'm in her shoes i will living by myself hahahaha. And there's no story about the father reaction to his wife weird behavior.
