I love all of your songs; however, I will continue to listen to this version as it's my childhood. But thank you so much for all of your music. I may not listen to you much of all anymore, but you had a part in my and a lot of other peoples' childhood. Thank you so much for all the memories you gave me especially. I would really like to thank the creator, Lizz, for shaping the path of my life because of this song. When i first heard this song, I was immediately attached to it. Every night, I would listen to this and just cry. Maybe it's because i'm feeling lonely. But, also, I happen to be very happy at that time. When i kept crying my eyes out at night, at morning i would feel this sense of happy and gloomy emotions. But, since then, I didn't listen as much to this song as i did last summer, and I stop feeling great emotions then. But, when i decided to listen to this song at this very night, I cried so much, that even my grandparents who live another room with us heard me. I swear my tears hardened the fabric that was covering my pillow. I haven't felt these types of emotions in a long time, and it really made me remember those times where I would be joyful and active to sad and teary eyed. It felt like it opened some sort of hidden "soul" inside my body. I don't know what will happen to me tomorrow, but I am happy that I felt this great sadness, because I forgotten the feeling of sadness. All i ever felt in my following days after summer was emptiness when i slept. But, this song made me feel true emotions again, and thank you because of that, Lizz Robinett.

Oh, I remember how this all began. I was just lonely. In this whole wide world. I always wished someone could be there for me. We all have our heart's desires, and I desired a friend. I lived trapped in a cold existance, without anything to look forward to in life. Don't worry it'll be ok, or it'll all be ok. That was my reality. Despair, coldness, numbness. I did not see any light. It was just sadness. And hollow. But then I kept yearning, yearning, and seeking something. Anything just anything that could bring color to my life. And in this I had a realization. That someone had to step up. Make the first move. That we can't just wait for life to fix itself. Rather it was our own duty to take that first step, not wait for someone else to fix our own lives. We all want a leader, we all want someone who can take charge. It's just how we are. We want to hear orders, let go, and follow without thinking. Yet, when I realized this. It was simple. Love others as you wished that you would be loved as well. All you have to do is move towards this reality, and it'll happen. You've seen it here. I know that so many here are angry, or envious. I'm a nobody, and so is everyone who sits down, and wishes for some magic trick to fix the world. Take a stand, take the first step. Just look to fight to make another person smile. If you wish to serve God, Jesus, or your friend, your father, your mother. There's nothing wrong with that. It's how I began my steps to where I am now. Don't focus on efficiency, focus on quality. Get involved in someone's life, and then try to make it better. Show them the warmth you really wished you had deep inside. I am but just a single man, and I am no more. But you. You can do what I've done times 41K just be good people. Just seek to do your best to make another person genuinely happy. And the Earth will shake time and time again.

This....This is exactly what anyone who is struggling through life needs to hear! A lot of people in the world feel alone and sometimes feel useless. But deep down they just want someone like-minded to be there for them and want to do something for the world. A lot of us want to leave our mark in some way or another. We often forget that we are not actually alone, we deliberately prefer not to get too close because we fear of getting hurt, and how sometimes we view the world as a scary place. But this, is what we need to see! Everyone goes through stuff in their lifetime, for better or worse. You are absolutely right thought about "taking the first step"! Unless we are handicapped no one should move our legs for us these complex steps of life. Instead that person should guide us toward the right path until we are ready to walk along it.

I must admit, I have a hard time listening to the original version of this song because it's so sad, but this version is so beautiful! As someone with depression and social anxiety, I can sadly relate to this song. I have a low self-esteem and often think nobody would want to be friends with me, so I put up walls. Then I feel lonely and long to be friends with someone but I'm too afraid to try. Afraid of getting close to others only to lose them, afraid of being rejected, afraid of being hurt. i am also a loner by nature, I value my alone time greatly, and while I want friends I fear I will lose my free time if I befriend others.
