I love how he eases through the chorus the first two times but after the bridge he belts it and it just brings me to tears. Dallas Green has the most insane voices I’ve ever heard! Such an amazing song writer also.

@AsianGenerationn My best guess is that he wrote this for his wife. I think it is about the fact that he is constantly touring, and his time with her is limited. He misses her therefore he is counting the days until he sees her next. He has accepted the fact that this is who he is, he is going to be gone. He is just hoping nothing will have changed in his absence.

The girl I love and I recently had a stupid fight and break up... we made up, but she is leaving for Texas in 6 months, and doesn't want me to come with her till I finish school, so she said we should just stay friends till she leaves, then I will finish my last year here then travel to Texas to see her, and we would talk and see if it's still worth giving it a shot... She hasn't even left yet but I already miss her, and these next 18 months will be some of the hardest of my life.
