Charlie’s like a supervillain that can copy a hero’s abilities but it’s exclusively for speed run techs. Then he uses them to instantly master the game
The game is hilarious. Moment I start playing, the cop npc is broken and never once chases me, allowing me to do all the puzzles without worrying about getting caught
@@froggygalaxy fr that’s the maddest comment I’ve ever seen on RU-vid, mine get reported and deleted for me saying the r word even if I just bring it up, nevermind actually saying I actively want to do it How’s everyone just glossing over this 😂
With this and Poppy Playtime, I’m convinced kid’s horror devs realized from Security Breach that they didn’t need to finish their games because the speedruns would be wild.
@@LyrisTheCat Basic research says otherwise :) Ignoring the fact devs sometimes don't want to be credited, they worked on the DLC meaning they wouldn't be credited due to how Steam works. This is why you should put effort into the research by using key words. Such as searching directly for Steel Wool's development.
@@Buglin_Burger7878 i went literally to their actual website and it had nothing on there. and if they only worked on the dlc thats meaningless. if they actually did the whole damn game that wouldve had been something else. fnaf has jank but in comparation its leagues better in both care and polish meanwhile that neightboor game turned into a streamer cheap bait since the alpha of the first one is clearly superior and they put actual passion behind the other they were getting the job done to get a paycheck.
I think once you WR Mr Krabs Overdoses on Ketamine, you just ascend to a different echelon of speedrunning. To be able to just eyeball a speedrun is insane lol
“Won’t get unlucky twice” then the game crashing was such perfect timing it’s straight out of a movie. (Edit: report that absolutely vile spam comment for child abuse.)
@@DisastrousIntentionally the guy grinded a weak in order to get the world record of 2 minutes and something. He played for six hours and got a time of around 8 minutes. Also getting the tricks once and actually becoming consistent enough so that you can actually get them first try nearly every time (which allows achieving a record in the first place) is an entirely different feat and requires way more work. Also I wouldn‘t say that somewhat learning a 5 Minute Speedrun (or rather getting an idea of how it works) in 6 hours is that impressive. It surely requires dedication but it isn‘t really as insane as it seems at first.
This is legit so impressive lmfao. The confidence, the gall, the balls of being like "no guide? Okay, I'll just eyeball it" and then actually doing all the tricks and getting like a sub 8 minute run WITH a 1 minute or so crash.
Actually impressed me that he legit said “must have been some kind of crouch jump spam” *bang* does it And then “this here looks like a sprint click spam” *bang* does it. Like I kno most games have similar kind of glitches but that actually is high iq wrinkles
How dumb are all of you guys acting like he's a genius for doing a simple buggy speedrun? He watched how to do something and then did it. There are only so many methods to do glitches, and a lot of them are very similar. If you can't watch a video doing something simple and then figure it out that would be more impressive to me. It's really not that hard and not that impressive. Yall are weird.
Charlie's learning skills are just as fast as the devs claimed the AI would be. Or would be if the AI was actually clever. The Neighbor wishes he could big brain like him.
Watching Charlie just stroke his speed running ego for 20 minutes is top tier. Also the error has something to do with an item/asset/or trigger that you aren't or (most likely) are supposed to hit by the time you finish the cut scene. It may be that there is a check during or after the cut scene and because you aren't technically supposed to be there yet (because of glitching possibly) it either A. doesn't trigger it or B. crashes because you are supposed to hit X, Y, and Z checks but fail one. Everything else checks out though and I doubt there is an exception or a if/else to try again or to just ignore it and move on to the next statement, causing you to crash. At the end the last Diag box might give you the answer, it is looking for an asset called "BP_NeighborBasement_Key_C" but couldn't find it where it was supposed to be. This is all just an idea though and no one can really say what the issue is without looking at the code, I am a little bit into my CS major and found this to be an interesting issue.
As a casual gamer, the logic in speedrunning mechanics is just hilarious to me. Yes, of course you can't just fly through the air, but if you've got a fire extinguisher? As long as you give a little spray between jumps, you can jump on air.
If the game hadn’t crashed over and over on him, I’m sure Charlie would’ve gotten a really decent time on his first few attempts. The game knows he’s the god of speed running and nerfed him accordingly lol
There’s a glitch with the security cam you get in first house where you can freeze the AI at doors, helpful trick to figure out puzzles and also might help the speed runners
Speedrun content is so interesting, these are my favourite videos because it's just so cool to see how fast Charlie picks this stuff up and to watch an entertaining speedrun attempt rather than the usual no commentary practiced speedrun
The game crash at the attic is the one that frustrates me so much, I played normally without speedruns and got there, and then it happened and save file got deleted. So then I learned to speedrun 😂
I waste so much time trying to fix stuff like this at work because it's so frustrating for people to accidentally fall through objects in a game and have to restart.
imagine just hanging out in your house and some random guy just runs in and phases through your basement door with ease while bragging about how good he is to a chat only he can see
It's kinda odd how people figure out speed running. It's basically abusing, or spoiling a game. Obviously. Unless you already played it normally, then that's cool but it's still kind of an odd thing to do
Hey, can you actually release a full Hello Neighbor game that is actually playable? This game has less content than the first game and manages to be more of a broken mess than the first one too yet the game is 10$ more than the first one. Or are we all expected to pay 36$ extra for DLC on a game that hasn't even been out a week and plays like a game in the alpha stages
Takes me back to the old days when he used the magnet trick to get to the upper levels of the house. It was funny af hearing him rapidly spam slam the keys to keep climbing up lol
This play through gives me dream vibes like its the most random glitch shet ever haha Like for example *ohhhh fire extinguisher ill use it to fly over the. Fire and open the water tap which would then fill. The room. With water* These are the dreams. I had when i was younger and i wish i had em. Now
You actually don't have to jump on top of the windowsill to get on top of the cage in the end segment, the reason it's so finnicky is because you actually have to land on top of the Lamp that is standing on the ground. If you jump on the lamp, then spam jump while looking up at the cage facing the window, you'll get up on top every time.
I feel like Charlie could be a really good QA tester even without industry experience or understanding of game engines. His speedrun knowledge gives him such a solid understanding of common bugs.
3:40 that’s so impressive there was no keystrokes or anything to find out how he did it, bro saw him walk straight through the door and figured it out first try
Hey Critical, Charlie, Penguinz0, whatever you wish to be called. A smaller (half a million subscriber) RU-vid channel is currently going through a drama with RU-vid because they won't pay him, despite the contract with RU-vid. The creator is known as Hutts, and i would love if you watched the two videos he has released regarding the subject. The only way i know how to get this to the greater public is through someone like you, who makes daily, good, consistent topic. Keep up the good work, i hope this gets to you.
