Gratz on the new place. I know the feeling about water leak on the first day. I had a water main break and had to turn the power off to get it to stop, after 2in of water in the utility room. It was spraying everywhere lol. ruined the drywall, books, plus other stuff. And this was on the first day. lol

New property looks awesome! It's a sweet find for being close to Ottawa. It's a fair bit of work, but when you're finished it'll be sweet! Will have to try and make it out there next year some time.

I’m sure your pumped to ride back in Ontario! Nice looking place looks like you will make it your own. Smaller garage you could build a carport on the side. Furnace is newer and it’s a good one I know I install those ones.

As a septic guy, if your toilets aren’t flushing correctly it could be a blockage in the inlet baffle (soap/grease/toilet paper) it’s a good idea to always get it pumped and inspected when buying a new home and the tech can let you know of any issues they may notice. Biggest issue if it’s a concrete tank is the outlet baffle will corrode and fall off and in turn it will then allow solids (poop and random floating items) to exit into your drain field and block the lines off. It’s cheap insurance to have it pumped every 3 years to keep it working in tip top shape. A new system is anywhere from 12 to 40 g’s . Just a little tip and piece of mind. Keep up the great vids 👍

Postings can suck. That’s one of the MAIN ( 😅 ) reasons I recently got out.. I’ll keep watching, tho 🫡 oh..get some Mr Clean Magic Erasers and Costco micro fiber cloths for the hot tub. Be mindful of your contractors and what they see. My buddy let some folks in to do this and that at his house… they came back after hours and looted his new home.
