I grew up crawdad fishing that very same beach. As kids we always took hot dogs on wire coat hangers and stuck them in the rocks on the grassy point. When the crawdads would latch on, we’d just transfer them to a bucket and always got at least it few. Good memories for sure. 😊 Sorry you got skunked! Fishing Tahoe definitely isn’t easy.
Happy Summer! It's winter here in Australia, near Melbourne. For the first time I'm bearing the cold without heating. It's invigorating, I'm aclimatised to the cold now and don't miss the heater. Saving bundles on my heating bill!
Hey guys I live in South lake Tahoe. Hit me up if u wanna go kayak fishing sometime. Kokanee fishing is getting ready to pop off on the lake. Mid July through labor day. If your still up here we can fish fallen leaf lake. Koke fishing fire.
Around 4th of July in our childhood we caught bountiful amounts of crawfish in Abernathy Creek in Oregon. Such great memories. My guess is the water was going too fast for you to catch anything but the trout. Good try.
Hey🤗guys! Yeah, fishing advice for Lake Tahoe, Taku? Go to the northern side that the Cartwright's own. Don't get shot there, either. 😊😅😂Bonanza was good tv, also. Memphis,10🇺🇲
Aloha. I had move to boyes hot springs to take care of my dad in 08. My buddy’s family had a cabin in South Lake Tahoe. He invited me, so I asked him does anyone like oysters besides him and myself? He said yes. I got up early, drove to Hog Island, bought 100 oysters. Threw them on ice, had two shucking knives, limes, lemons, and homemade cocktail sauce. Drove up there only to find that my buddy and I were the only ones that ate oysters. Pure gluttony, and stomach issues.
Maybe you could do a recipe with your sister and dad with a pic and everything. Is Jacqueline putting her family's recipes in? That would be an epic co-love.... Especially some great latina home style. Good days...! Love yal...
Hry Jocelyn and Taku; Gosh I wasjust thinking about you last night! I thought you went to Panama ,I was worried. I stayed at Emerald Lake below you We camped thru to southern Cali. What wonderful place. Enjoy🎉 JO JO IN VT 💞
Tahoe is by far my favorite place in the world. Weve got a cabin 2 blocks from El Dorado beach in south shore. It was built in 1939 and my family spends time up there almoat every year for the 4th of July
You have to fish in deep water in Tahoe. If you are near South Lake go to Fallen Leaf Lake. It is fishing very well right now. If you are north go to Stampede or Prosser
Check out "wilderness with Armani" he knows how to catch fish in Tahoe. He's from Reno and fishes the eastern sierras. He's entertaining and cates fish out of Tahoe. Another tip is jigging for mackinaw with minnows in emerald bay. It looks like you guys are on west shore near camp Richardson. I could be wrong.
If Taku and you still like to travel, I advised that both of you not to buy a house. As when you get back home to your house, it will be occupied by nasty ‘Squatters’. Just an advice.
Start thinking like you're looking for a home and not a house. Someplace where you always come back to, kick off your shoes and relax. It will come to you.
The link I shared is for Yuki ramen in Tahoe. It's just opened and is owned by an amazing couple who also own the best ice cream shop in South lake as well. aloha ice cream.
