Hellroaring Along 

I genuinely love that no one here is trashing the devs for taking however many years to do things, or saying the game is bad only because it takes a LONG time to develop a game like this. instead, timeline related comments are mainly saying "take your time!" . Like I haven't seen anyone say something like "Hurry up >: (" ever! If the WolfQuest devs read this, I want to say that this kind of communication and clarity is really impressive. (no empty promises, no accusations of scams, or bad politics.) This is something that no other game that I have seen has developed, but one that they should all strive for. I think this is the kindest gaming community I've ever seen.

I remember those floods. I still miss camping at the affected campgrounds, and I especially miss driving on the old road from Gardiner up to Mammoth! I would see lots of bighorns up that road and haven't seen any yet on the new road.

I think the muddy water colour would also be a good thing for the Lamar and Slough creek rivers during their floods. Spring floods are turbulent and stir up a lot of soil even when the surface appears calm so it’s always been strange to me to see pretty blue rivers when they should be more brown at that time.

Fixing up my Skyrim mods for the 6th time in the last two weeks has been taking a toll. Taking some time to relax and watch a progress update from WolfQuest is just what I needed.

This game has to be the most realistic and awesome game Ive ever seen and had the pleasure of playing. Thank you, WolfQuest Team for going above and beyond with all that you do, you guys are doing really good, I love how the game is coming along. 🤩

I hoped that the flooding river mention would see drowning return. Partly as a callback to pup raising origins, and partly because I’d imagine that in a swollen river crossed at improper depth or rapids, it’s very likely smaller animals get washed away or dragged under. I don’t mean drowning as in water suddenly equals death, but instead ‘crossing the extreme spring rapids intentionally and ignoring depth warnings means your pups could be washed away’.

DROP EVERYTHING, WOLFQUEST POSTED!!! Hellroaring looks great so far! The landscaping in this game is gorgeous i cant, the effort put into this fantastic game is immaculate. The rivers look really good on this map- as well as everything else looking so wonderful coming to this future update, we'll be here for support all the way through!!

Wow, the efforts of everyone on the team are as amazing as always. The seasonal details that are so small in the grand scheme of things but make every map and play through so much better are some of my favorites. I can’t wait to see the muddy River in hellroaring! Also those new achievement icons are so gorgeous. The art style used for those is just one of my favorites

With so much water its gonna be hell(pun intended) getting pups to the sites through all that water. Can't wait for the map, just planning ahead for how gameplay will be impacted by the terrain.

I'm always surprised by how much the devs care about this game. Been playing it off and on since about 2015, and it's incredible to see just how much time the devs put into it. I really can't think of any other games that are so carefully tended to by their dev teams, it's very refreshing to see!

living in Billings, it was crazy when the flood happened, we have family that own cabins at a lake that completely got stranded as many of the streams from the lake got redirected and some cabins even washed away! Insane how nature can impact these things, but a wonder seeing how it corrects itself and keeps goin on! These devlogs are always so interesting to see and a lil treat! :D

I do wonder if they’ll add weather affect for the creeks and rivers like if it’s storming the water becomes much faster and dangerous being able to wash you away or a pup away if your not careful. But overall I’m so hyped for this game the devs are amazing in trying to give us the opportunity to feel like a wolf and appreciate these magnificent creatures.

This development team always amazes me. The way you guys not only share what you're doing, but HOW you're doing it, and taking time to keep us all updated on your progress. Its so clear how much genuine love and attention goes into this game and into the community as well. If all game developers were like you all, this world would be a much nicer place. Thank you.

WolfQuest is that game that just keeps on giving. I've been playing since I was in middle school and have since graduated college, but WolfQuest still keeps evolving.

WolfQuest it's actually inspired me to write one of the book series that I'm working on it's not anywhere near done yet but just this entire thing has inspired me so much

oh wow, that water shader effect is beautiful. i love that the tiling effect is basically nonexistent.

It's absolutely insane how much effort goes into this game. I'm not even one to usually buy DLC but I'll absolutely be buying this one, even if just to show my appreciation. Can't wait to see it and the Saga come out.

I love this game! I hadn’t played it in a while and I went back to my Greek Mythology wolves and had the best time! I love how much effort the devs put into their work, and that nothing is rushed, everything is beautiful!

Met a beta tester person named Oracle, FrostBrythe i think is their user. Wondering, what happens with beta testers and what do they do? Sounds interesting. Oracle said beta testers haven’t heard anything about beta testing Hellroaring Mountain, and everyone in that server believed that there might not be a beta testing, just straight up release. Awesome! Love the game, can’t wait for these updates and the saga soon! ❤

I love your update videos so, so much! The way you carefully craft and bring each map to life is so wonderful to watch. The amount of love put into them is always apparent and the visuals are just beautiful. Keep up the great work; I cannot wait to get my hands on the new map and the saga!

Maybe we can use the drink option as a regular thing what your wolf need and the females can make milk the pups and can feed them and later the pups need to learn drink water too (like a side quest)

I think it would be cool if y’all added ( if u run out of update ideas or whatever ) floods or in summer when it’s really hot and the rivers dry out ( it could be enabled in settings or for challenging and up ) i think it would be pretty neat !

The achievement icons look really pretty, but they aren't going to be viewed in that size. Top left one is maybe too dark to see what's in the picture, only shape you kind of see is the rock. Top right has too much detail on the ground and to rock pillar is too dark against the dark background. Bottom left is best of these since you have dark wolfs against the bright moon and you can see the silhouettes, but the bridges handrail is as dark as the wolfs, so I would lighten that up a bit so the wolfs pop up real good. Bottom right one has also a darkness problem, left side is pretty clear with that bright background but the left side is hard to recognise the little pup and half of the big wolf. The art is amazing and real pretty, it is just a shame that it might not be so clear when viewed in a small scale.

i hope yall work on mobile or console next! take yalls time though i love how much detail yall put into the game ❤❤
