Im voting for Trump because Putin is not scared of Kamala. The same way Putin was not scared of Biden. That's why he attacked Ukraine because Biden is a weak president and Putin was not concerned about Biden and he was right. If Kamala wins WW3 will happen because no one is scared of a woman leader. TRUMP 2024!!!! Do you really think you have a democracy when Biden say " I will not drop out of the presidential race" then proceeds to drop out the next day and they put Kamala up for it?
I don't understand the hate, honestly. While this is a shocker to many people including myself, I don't believe there was any harmful intent here. I always say this about influencers as well, they are ALLOWED to voice their opinion and it is not their fault nor business on how people react to it. Who CARES who they voted for? That does not mean YOU have to. Whether they were influenced to post this or not, it does not take anything away from the game. Yes, politics is important, but why can't it be "casually" included without all the hate? It should be encouraged that people vote. I'd rather have this than constantly being harassed at stores and told "have you registered to vote yet?!". I personally don't believe in "a game should never include politics". This game has been running for many many years, and this is the first time they decided to post something like this. Don't be so quick to put them on the chopping block, they genuinely care for the conservation of animals. If they think the person they are voting for would help this cause then so be it. In the end, people will vote for who they want and they have the right to mention their name. Nobody should be that easily influenced or offended by it. To me, that's immaturity and I think the WQ team handled this well.
This one was a bit weird for me. Politics and games should be separated. I play these games to have a little time off from work AND politics. Also im not even American the world is a little bit bigger.. If you don't wanne vote thats fine and its your right to do so. Let no one bully you that you HAVE to vote or on WHO you need to vote. Four Democrats sided with Republicans voting for the bill, including Yadira Caraveo of Colorado, Henry Cueller of Texas, Jared Golden of Maine and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington state. If this bill was passed under Biden administration how is Kamala going to change this outcome ? Where did you tell your audience the democrats sided with republicans? Where did you show evidence of trumps motion being denied EXCEPT WHERE WOLVES ARE AN ISSUE. ?? Your bias is showing and it’s incredibly disappointing. You took a unified wholesome community and divided it. Now everyone is at each others throats when this was such a safe place to learn about creatures we love. Never touching it again.
You know what really pissed off about this video is that the creator is putting off a video he Shuld NOT put out into video games. Video games Do not need to go into politics in the slightest I get it wolf quest was created to help the wolfs. do your research look to the past see what the current contenders for voting and see what THEY DID and have done for the country good or bad even if they where a gov or major or anything DO YOUR RESEARCH but politics again Shuld NEVER BE IN VIDEO GAMES and creators of theses video games can NEVER say in a public video who they are voting for it’s just wrong and makes some of us not want to play this game anymore as me and my friends are getting vary tired of seeing politics in video games the point of video games is to get away from stress or real life not be meet in the game with the same stress it’s just makes us less likely to want to play any of the games that mention Voting or politics in games or publicly in the game platform if the creator wants to announce there voting stance they Shuld do it it on there OWN PRIVATE PLATFORM NOT THE GAMES PLATFORM.

Quick suggestion!: I think it’d be nice if you could order other wolves in your back to do certain things, like go hunting, mark territory- maybe even claim it from other packs- or, as coming into the game, babysit. I think you should expand it from simply babysitting though; it would be helpful to not have to mark hexes from so far away.
I have an argument on why the eagles should be nerfed : First of all, the eagles are way strong, they can carry about 8 lbs, which means pups should be safe or harder to catch at 11-14 lbs. Also it shouldn’t be an insta-kill, if the pup is at least 12lbs, you should have a couple of seconds to bite the eagle and save the pup, they would loose half of their health and sometimes the eagle would drop the pup and the damage taken would be determined based on how far the drop is, the pup being able take at least 80% damage.
You guys are giving us so much more than we expected. You could have just slapped down wolves in your pack growing up and called it a day, but you are going above and beyond to give us the best possible game. I can tell its going to be worth the wait.
Hi devs, I have a question if you happen to see this. Question if our pack affinity goes low enough for a pup to wander away will the yearlings go and fetch that pup?
i remember playing the mobile version years ago and watching youtubers do playthroughs of some of the first versions of this game. i kinda forgot it existed but youtube send me a notif for this video (no idea why) and dare i say.... ill be seeing myself online again very soon
Man, we're here to play the fun wolf game, not get preached to. If you want to tell people to do their own research and encourage them to vote, sure, but don't in the next breath go "I enthusiastically support X candidate." Pretty clear you're getting ratio'd when the actual devblog has twice as many likes and views, but only 20% of the comments.
I rlly hate it when ppl put politics into a game. I just wanna play a game and not be constantly worrying about Kamala or Trump or whoever it is. It’s a wolf game for crying out loud
Yeah vote for the mondialist wanting mass immigrations everywhere so they can have more and more consumers instead of slow depopulation leaving more space for animals and nature. Lets fight for all live in tiny places, in big cities with 0 access to nature because we "have to seperate for not hurt cause were too many for not impact it negativly". Lets fight for the left which told white people "make less children" and that now tell "we need immigration cause our economy needs more people" and "its not a number problem, its the way we consume". Like if we could have medics, house, garden, good quality of goods and the way we produce it, drinking water, meat and access to nature with BILLIONS OF LITTLE CONSUMERS, who now normalize "diverse bodies shapes" in order to let people eats shits without guilt because consume consume consume and create consumers. Its funny how all the "games" are soooo deeply involved in "poltical message and mobilize people" while their main audience are young people who are more innocent and can only believe what propagandist told them about the past and never heard the old left's arguments about "equality, liberty and such and the twist of them". Youre under the order of manipulators which want only the same big companies set up ALL OVER the planet without being accused of colonialism. So if theres no people, no borders, and so much people that they fights for low quality crumbs its pefect.
It would be really cool if the older pups and packmates went out to mark territory maybe one or two at a time when everyone is just lounging at the den, as the pack grows so does the territory type thing!
They will. You can join them and they’ll choose to follow your path as pack leader. Or let them do their own thing until they return. Almost how you can venture into rival pack territory and come across 2-3 subordinates who are lounging around or marking territory.

There are numerous problematic issues that should be addressed with this blog post: 1. This is a game development blog to begin with, people typically do not want to be updated on real world or be bombarded with outside-of-game news when they come to this platform. Unless it is a direct interest with the game itself; example: The Yellowstone wolf dynamics had a notable shift, or disease outbreak that we would be interested in. As it could personally impact the game as far as pack names we interact with and so on. 2. He uses loaded words like: 'this election is important,' 'we don't dive into politics often,' and 'do your own research,' then name drops 'his' personal choices and who he is voting for this election cycle. He also name drops another influential person for some odd reason, unnecessarily, that has mass appeal. 3. There isn't much precedent for this type of post - he stated as much with his opening statement. What is so special about 'this' election that prompted the blog post. Why not speak up in 'every' election cycle since this game was started in development? It came out of left field. 4. This is a global game, the developers are based in the United States, but the player base is from across the globe, spread across many demographics. So, one has to call into question how appropriate the post was for 'this' platform specifically. A lot of the player base seems to be underage as well, which is problematic in its own right. 5. You cannot say, "do your own research," then out of the corner of your mouth say, "I'm enthusiastically voting for so and so," because you have installed your own personal beliefs and pressed influence in what should have been a Neutral comment to begin with. 6. Your post is full of assumptions as to why people are annoyed with this type of post. Do not make assumptions, they're divisive and unnecessary. I know who I am voting for, but if he had said 'any' candidate's name I would be annoyed. If he wanted to drop names and endorse a specific person, he should have done so on his personal social media handles and not a game development one. It became an advertisement the moment he did that, whether you agree or not. Since you made the assumption: if he had said he was voting for Trump/Vance - would you have had an issue? Serious question, since you're assuming most of the people who are annoyed are Trump/Vance voters. 7. This should be a concern for every player, as we live in a very polarized political arena in the US at the moment. We've seen this indicated in the response this Blog has cultivated. This is a small niche game; it doesn't have financial backing sustainable for long-term funding. It isn't backed by a larger company; this is a smaller independent developer. From a marketing stance, there isn't a lot of flexibility to cause a fracture in your player base. People speak with their money, there are ample examples of this of late where a company misread their consumers, and it caused financial hiccups. This is social media as well; it can become toxic rather quickly and the developers were the one that 'opened' that door. 8. In their own Code of Conduct they specifically state that religion and politics shouldn't be discussed in their forums, in-game communications, and community. If it isn't allowed in-game, why bring it here?
IDEA A softer aging process can be simulated by creating an intermediate coat between young and old (overlaying a transparent layer of the young coat on the original) that will only be reproduced during the fifth year. This should be easy to implement. And it will give the ability to monitor the transformation (aging) process of your wolf, your puppies, companion and hostile wolves. It is also possible to add the ability to turn off the aging function if the player is biased towards the appearance of his wolf.
I love playing on east but I never knew that they couldn’t die of sickness on easy and I was really wondering why when 3 of my pups got sick non of them die no matter what 😳
Something I think would be cool to add- well two things actually is you can join a pack but instead of being a leader you are a lower level wolf and if you want to you can slowly climb the ladder to the top (probably work on it after the saga) And two when you have a big enough pack sometimes other dispersals come running to you not to be your mate but to join your pack instead basically the first one but reverse the roles and get rid of the climb the ladder part But yeah that’s just stuff I think might be interesting

Questions: -Pups already born that would be 1-8y old. How will they be handled? (A couple are from my elder wolf 😉) -I have several games "paused" ranging from easy find a den quest to Accurate "ulra ironwolf" endless summer. How will previous pups, the experience system and the "immortal pup" runs be handled? (Easy, pups can't die, if I have a litter with 1-3 will that setting be accessible or only if switched on before selecting a den/ pups are born) Specifically if: I would like my little pack to never lose a pup at what point should the game be left to do this? If I have a wolf eg 5y with multiple litters how will the prior years be shown? Will you handle things differently base on diversity for who spawns in? Will they all? Will they automatically be given exp since they missed the season they would have gained it? If we can switch between the main wolf pups and mates on death will a mate of a previous elder wolf be playable in our my wolves panel?
I have followed WolfQuest for years, and this video deeply upset me. I do understand and agree with the importance of exercising our right to vote, and to research and elect people whose beliefs align with ours. However, I also feel that Dave interjecting his own political opinions was unethical, unprofessional, and unnecessary. He also stated that they usually don't get involved with politics, and I hope in the future they keep it that way. I am HIGHLY considering withdrawing my support and uninstalling the game after this. Dividing a community like this is NOT okay.
I completely agree, this is a animal based game for crying out loud why would he ever think this was appropriate at all to speak about. nobody gave their money spent time or recommended this game just to hear Dave "preach" his political views there is multiple people who support this game who dont agree with his views and all he is doing is turning away supporters due to sharing this, I also am thinking wether or not I should uninstall the game he should of kept his blogs about the game and its content not his political aspects.

I got so excited to see that my favorite game developers are telling people to vote, because it is important. There are things that need to be worked on now, and just like human needs, animal needs have to be met as well.
