Stolas certainly won't be winning any Father-of-the-Year awards, but he really truly loves his daughter, and the fact that he makes an effort already puts him above about 85% of all fictional parents. A key thing to note is that Stella isn't angry that Stolas cheated on her, she's angry that he, a high-class Prince, cheated on her with an imp, the bottom of the demonic class ladder. Morgan Terry's reaction had it absolutely right comparing her to Odalia Blightfrom The Owl House, the literally only thing Stella cares an ounce of a shit about is her own public image. Fun fact: Stolas is an actual demon described in the real-world Ars Goetia. He's depicted as a long-legged owl wearing a crown, and is in charge of astronomy, prophecy, precious gems, and poisonous plants. Notice that in the show Stolas often wears a top hat with a crown on it, and he keeps a lot of plants in his palace. And a cute detail, Octavia's beanie also has a little crown on it. Additional fun fact: Fans asked who was was more powerful between Alastair and Stolas, and Vivzie answered that their powers work very differently from each other, so much so that they're not really comparable at all, but in simple terms of raw power Stolas is stronger.

The theme park is there for the hellborn demons. The ones who aren't there as a punishment, they were just born there. Also to make money for the guy who owns it.

Octavia is probably one of my favorite side characters. Without spoiling any other appearances she makes, number one, her accent just feels so nice to hear, don’t know why. And secondly, she just wants her parents to be nice to each other; she would feel alone otherwise.

So there's a difference between demons and sinners. Demons are natural born residents of hell, where sinners are the corrupted souls of humans who have been cast to hell.

This episode is definitely 1 of my favourites. It definitely is the 1st 1 that showed the true emotional core of this show. It mainly focused on Stolas and Octavia's father-daughter relationship, which is really sweet, complex and touching, but also gave us 1st glimps into Blitzo's past. What a great episode!

I don't know if you'll read this but, to clarify the reason Solas's wife is so upset is more because he slept with an imp than the fact he cheated on her. Imps are on the second to last rung on Hell's Hierarchy ladder only above Hellhounds who are mostly treated like pets and guard dogs. Some imps have a somewhat different physiology depending on if they are mixed with another demon. Moxie is taller than the average imp meaning his mom and dad were basically an interracial couple. Or at least that's what I believe.

Loona only has one line in this episode and she's not even on screen and it never fails to make me laugh 😂 She's definitely my favourite character in the show

Considering the actor for Stolas is a broadway actor/singer it makes sense he can hit those notes.

Loo Loo Land takes place in the "Ring of Greed" ruled by Mammon imbodiement of Greed itself. (One of the 7 deadly sins) Because like Imps and Hellhounds, these are beings that were born in hell, they are it's people. People like Mrs. Mayberry from Ep.1 is a "Sinner" a former human.

This version of hell isn't really the "Bad people get sent here to experience their own personal torment" kind of place. It's more a "Bad people get sent to this really shitty place and try to make the best of their continued miserable existences" Hence the theme parks and the like

To the crew of Sorta Stupid, the reason that theme park is there is just to make money as Loo Loo Land is in the Greed Ring. Lu Lu World was probably made just as a sign of pride as it is in the Pride Ring. In Hell, even the most wholesome of things are there for either twisted or selfish things.

stolas is maybe my favourite character in this entire show. also - his actor (bryce pinkham) is a full-on broadway actor, so i am absolutely delighted they let him sing. (octavia's actress, barrett wilbert weed, is also a broadway actress!) also - imps (e.g. blitz, millie, and moxxie) were born in hell, and not sent there due to any earthly sins. they aren't inherently bad people, they just happened to be born in hell. stolas, similarly, is royalty, and was born and raised in hell rather than being sent there. so the existence of theme parks and such makes sense - sure, the sinners are there to be punished, but who says the born-n-bred demons can't have some fun? (also, as far as i remember, this version of hell pretty closely mirrors the human world in certain places, so it's not super surprising) the beetlejuice comparison is also amazing, because fizzarolli's voice actor (alex brightman) played beetlejuice on broadway too :]

I’m sure it’s been said before, the reason a lot of the singing is amazing is the fact a lot of the talent is actual talent from Broadway. Bryce Pinkham is in little shop and Alex brightman is about to go and play Lancelot in Spamalot.

Hell in Helluva boss is devided in 7 rings, the humam sinners stay only in Lucifer´s pride ring. Loo loo land is on the greed ring, ruled by Mammon, only demons born in hell can go to the six rings below pride, aka wrath, gluttony, greed, lust, envy and sloth in that order, you can see what ring they are by the color of the sky, they follow a rainbow order, greed, aka the one in this episode, have a green sky. Also all of hell is ruled by Lucifer, the king who keeps the humans in the first ring(pride) for himself, but each ring has a prince in comand, those being Lucifer, Satan, Beelzebub, Mammon, Asmodeus, Leviathan and Belphegor, in order. That being said, Loo loo land is a cheap knockoff made to take as much money from hellborn demons visiting the place, it's a tourist trap basically

I’d say it’s less about Wholesomeness & more about how much money they can drain out of people. This specific park is made by Mammon, the prince of greed, you can see him on the money bills, and his name on the contract.

so, something to note, this episode seems to take place in the Greed Ring. Natural borns of Hell (Imps, Hellhounds, demon royalty like the Goetias) are able to traverse all of the rings of Hell. Sinners sent to hell become Sinner Demons, and are basically stuck on the Pride ring. That's where I.M.P.'s HQ is at. So really, the theme park is for natural borns only. And it's a rip off made by the Lord of Greed. After all, how often is a theme park on earth designed to let you go about WITHOUT spending money?

Actually, in this version of hell, most of the rings are occupied by demons naturally born in hell, aka not sinners As a matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken, all the Earth born sinners can only exist in the pride ring, which is where imp city is While demons born in hell can move through the rings more or less freely So it would seem that most of the amusement and leisure activities are for hell born demons Sinners do stuff for fun, too, but it looks like it's mostly just the stuff that got them sent to hell in the 1st place So it seems like the punishment for sinning in life is more or less just wallowing in it around other sinners fun fact: You can tell the difference between the rings by the color of the sky

Well to the question about why is a theme park in hell, the teacher from the first episode who killed her husband was down there as a demon, not as a tortured soul or anything like that, so I guess in this it works different...you get to hell not to suffer, but to become a demon, appearently.

Fun fact: one of the syoryboarders for this episode (and ep 4), Paul Villeco, is a regular storyboarder on Steven Universe. So you guy's need to watch "hazbin hotel" pilot, it is what sparked hell'uva boss as a series on youtube, because the hazbin hotel got picked up to be made into an actual show on hbo max and they are working on it along side hell'uva boss so fans can watch it for free on youtube but the other one you have to have hbo max for the team is really good and they have tons of guest star's in hell'uva boss check the credits after the epsodes and you might be surprised by who's in it.

You prolly already know this, but lemme make the structure of Hell clear: Sinners, the ones who lived on Earth died and are confined to the Pride Ring, the first of the 7 rings and at the top of Hell. Below it is the Wrath Ring, where the farmers and hard-workers live and work. Below that is the Gluttony Ring, home to the majority of hellhounds, and is the party capital of Hell. Under that is the Greed Ring, filled with mafia leaders, killers, and greedy charlatans, and houses Loo Loo Land. Below that is the Lust Ring, filled with sex clubs, sex shops, and other sex-related things. Under that is the Envy Ring, which hasn't really been explored in the show yet, and under that is the Sloth Ring, which has all the hospitals. Pride is run by Lucifer, the King of Hell. Wrath is run by Satan, Gluttony is run by Beelzebub, Greed is run by Mammon (the owner of Loo Loo Land), Lust is run by Asmodeus, the owner of Ozzie's, Envy is run by Leviathan, and Sloth is run by Belphegor. These 7 leaders are known as the Seven Deadly Sins, each based on one of the sins of course, and are right under Lucifer's family in Hell's hierarchy. Under them of course is the Ars Goetia, a family of royals and nobles that Stolas is a part of, and below them are the Overlords, the powerful sinners of the Pride Ring. Under that is all of the hellborn, regular sinners, and at the very bottom are Imps and Hellhounds.

The reason they have the theme park is because Hell is separated by rings, each ring represents one of the seven deadly sins. Only denizens of Hell, imps, succubus, hellhounds, etc, those born in hell can travel to different rings. While earth born sinners can only exist in the Pride ring where Hazbin Hotel takes place. LooLoo Land is in the Greed Ring, Imp City is located in the Pride Ring thats why earth born sinners can go to I.M.P and request their services to off people who screwed them in life.

In general they have nice things bc Imps (for example Blitzo Millie Moxie) and hell hounds ( Luna) and demons like Stollas were never human they were born in hell therefor they aren't sinners ( welp kinda 😂) so why wouldn't they want to have nice things 😁

"Why would they have a theme park in Hell?" Well, because why not? And also not everyone in hell was a human at one point. Actually, none of the main cast in this show ever was a human. Moxie, MIllie, Blitz, Octavia and Stolas were all born in Hell. So why wouldn't there be theme parks? The children born in hell need somewhere to go and play.

Okay, so a quick rundown of how things work here: Hell is made up of 7 rings, all stacked on top of each other. The Pride Ring is the top ring, and has a red sky. All demons who used to be humans are known as sinners, and are all confined to the Pride Ring, and cannot travel to any other ring, or leave Hell. Demons who are born in Hell are known collectively as the Hellborn. All imps, hellhounds, succubi, and a few other races are all Hellborn, and can freely travel between the rings. It is currently unclear if non-demons (like living humans or angels) can travel between rings as well. Since the 6 rings located below the Pride Ring don't have to deal with the yearly extermination by angels, they can afford to have much more social stability, so luxury locations like theme parks are constructed so Hellborn families can have a bit of family fun one in a while.

Why a theme park in hell when hell is to punish sinners? Well there are several things to reply to: 1. Hell is the afterlife for those that don't get into heaven that's true. But it's not specifically designed for torture. It just happens because exploitation is common to those that get there. 2. Judging by the sky not being red, this is not the Pride ring which is the only ring that Sinners can access. So this theme park isn't even made for them, it's made for the demons that were born and grew up in hell. Even though hell seems to have everything to do with humans in the grand scheme, many or even most hellborn inhabitants may live lives seperate from that purpose in the minute. 3. That said... it's made by Mammon... so there's an amount of exploitation already built into this place even tho hellborns like going there.
