Chad Gray is a fucking God and a legend himself. I love his music and his vibe. He blossomed and his true art came out with this album. I've loved him since Dig. My teen angst was exorcized thru him and the mudvayne world, along with slipknot, disturbed, Korn, system of a down, and the rest of that generation that fueled the nu metal movement. They're my heroes.
One of the Very rare singers who actually sounds the same or better live as they do on the album itself. Can't stand it when performers use a bunch of Theatrical shit live to try and compensate for their shitty live vocals. Chad Gray is the Real Deal.
Don't get me wrong, I love chad grays vocals but he really struggles live. which makes sense considering he's given his all with his vocals putting raw emotion over technique since the early 2000s.
RIP Vinnie Paul and Dime Bag "Abbot" Darrel , Chirs Cornell, Chester Bennington, Lemmy, Tom Petty, Gord Downie, Prince, Peter Steele, David Bowie, Lorreta Lynn, Coolio, Meat Loaf, Taylor Hawkings, Whitney Houston and all we lost that where part of our lives.
Just up great bunch of guys very artistic extremely talented is Chad Gray, the rest of them as well.. honestly it killed me and it pissed me off when mudvayne split.. they have more than made up for it with hell yeah and I'm not saying hell yeah is a better band no mudvayne took a place in my life where I was very vulnerable and they have helped me heal into something that I never thought possible. Pantera tool korn and then along came mudvayne and Slipknot. But have never forgotten about Tupac Eazy-E NWA, ALL OF THEM IMPACTED MY HEART AND MY SOUL AS WELL AS MY FUTURE IN THE MAN I'VE BECOME.. I LOVE YOU ALL WITH AN ALREADY BROKEN HEART. You all are helping methis very day 🤟🏻💯♾️💚😎🤘🏻✌🏻🕳️
Is this alcohol issues or that he can’t hear himself. He sounds like this with mudvayne as well in 2023. Way off pitch like he’s struggling bad. Sad to see. I hope someone helps him with whatever is going on. He was one of the best. Phil in pantera was like that during his struggles before sobriety, he’s touring sober now and killing it now.
Book of GENESIS 9:12 And God said: "This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 "I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 🌈
Not that I like the band or the genre, but I loved the part where his mic stopped working just when it needed to work the most! 😅 I mean, tech could have stopped his boring @$$ speach any moment, instead he let it all happen only to cut audio when he started singing...☠️
