Imagine how huge Drowning Pool would be had Dave lived..... what impresses me the most, was while most frontmen crave fame and attention, all Dave wanted was to buy a house for his mom..... so humble and down to earth.... Dave Williams Rest In Paradise
I know it! He was amazing! I remember him wanting to buy his Mom a house. I was legitimately sad when he passed away. Drowning Pool very well may have continued what Pantera had begun. Dave was a fantastic musician and presence. He was like a more childlike Phil Anselmo in the best kind of way.God Bless him and may he R.I.P.🙏🏻🙏🏻 Side note: their cover of Metallica’s “Creeping Death” was the absolute best! They would have killed that Metallica tribute that blew up KoRn’s version of “One” or perhaps to an extent even Limp Bizkit’s version of “Sanitarium”.
I agree,,,saw them with sevendust,,,Merrill,wi..the concert,in a ice arena,,the floor got wet from beer,,the mosh pit fell over like dominoes,,,,crazy nite of music,,,got C.J.pierce to sign my ticket after the show, just standing outside with his girlfriend!!!..cool...land o' lakes,wi...(2001)
They were actually good live. I used to dislike this song with a passion, but, listening to it now I can hear the talent. This was performed very well.
Can’t believe he can nail those controlled screams live just as they sound in the studio. That’s incredibly rare to pull off by most singers. He is sorely missed.
@@jasanipitts3385 SoundCloud wave came in 2015. Metal and rock somehow just kind of faded away around 2011. There’s still some hope though look at MGK.
@@metalrockstarizer89 no offense I like MGK but he's not a savior for good Metal. He's doing what most if not all white rappers do, get in rapping then end up in rock after. But I am hoping we get something as unique as Drowning Pool. The best we have right now is Bring Me The Horizon minus the poppy BS
Dave was such a great guy. I met them in Deep Ellum in Dallas before they got signed. He was quick to give you a hug if he saw you and recognized you. I saw him a few days before he passed away and got the Dave hug. I couldnt even go to the funeral. Cindy Skull announced his death on my way to class that night. I turned around drove home and my girlfriend and I cried quite a bit that night. We miss you Dave.
They are already one of the best bands ever, and one of my top fav bands, Even their best singer was the second one after dave, They just didnt get attention when dave died, You should listen to their albums all of them are amazing except self titled one, hardest one was desentized after sinner, jason gong vocals the best
I was listening to Drowning pool at a young age. I was 8 when he passed away. Awesome voice. Hes missed by all of us fans, band members and his family. The band just isn't the same without him.
Every time I hear this song and as many times as I have heard it... It plays in my mind like it's the first time, every time.. R.I.P Brother your still screaming in our souls.
It's sad to think that around the time of this video had he had a full cardiac screening done there may have been something that could have been done to reverse his heart disease and perhaps he'd still be with us today. Guy had a hell of a voice on him and more range than the vast majority of modern metal vocalists.
Ditto! Heard it shortly after ti came out, kinda liked it. What can I say - I like loads of different music styles, but I always come back to rock and metal.
"Stage's" legacy will forever be the vocals to this skull exploding head-banging anthem. When your music prompts an 80-some year old man to perform it live on stage - twice - you are a true rock star, spanning time and the generations. Can only imagine how his voice would have developed over 20 years later. RIP, bruh.
This is the first live performance that has made me listen to it 7 times and all that, bro I want pizza. I have pizza holy shit. I’m gonna go get that pizza guys I’ll brb
When I get caught doing something stupid “nothing wrong with me” 2 “nothing wrong with me” 3 “nothing wrong with me”. Screaming then they leave you alone 😂
I just went to daves grave 3 days ago. Incredible expierience. I love the band to this day bit its still not the same. Miss ya dave thank you for sinner!!
Man I can only imagine how huge they would’ve been today if Dave was still alive. RIP Dave “Stage” Williams 1972-2002 you will forever be dearly missed 🤘
Should have put the abott brothers in there instead of juice wrld lol, since dave was good friends with dimebag. No offence but juices style should not be with those names
I actually just started listening to Drowning Pool. First and second album only so far, but it's not the same after the first. Vocalists are always what makes a band for me, I hate that Dave passed so soon. What a band. RIP
FOR ALL ROCKERS AND MUSIC LOVERS HERE ARE THE LYRICS : Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Beaten why for (why for) Can't take much more (Here we go, here we go, here we go) One, nothing wrong with me Two, nothing wrong with me Three, nothing wrong with me Four, nothing wrong with me One, something's got to give Two, something's got to give Three, something's got to give now Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Push me again (again) This is the end (Here we go, here we go, here we go) One, nothing wrong with me Two, nothing wrong with me Three, nothing wrong with me Four, nothing wrong with me One, something's got to give Two, something's got to give Three, something's got to give now Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Skin against skin, blood and bone You're all by yourself but you're not alone You wanted in now you're here Driven by hate consumed by fear Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor One, nothing wrong with me Two, nothing wrong with me Three, nothing wrong with me Four, nothing wrong with me One, something's got to give Two, something's got to give Three, something's got to give now Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor Let the bodies hit the floor.......
Haha this brings back some memories. Seen these guys in Ireland in 2002, I remember thinking the singer is doing a really good Phil Anselmo circa 1997 vibe. Got to hang out with him and he was a real good guy, really young and enthusiastic man. Heard he died some months later if I remember.
Great Performance, Vocals perfect, Only 1 Lead-Guitarist but it sounds strong as f*** and the Drums in the Intro at 0:29 leading you to feel where this song is going to... just perfect
From the comments I understand one of these members passed away, RIP. Actually I had never heard of this band or song until 82 year old John Hetlinger covered the song on AGT.
I got to meet these guys when they opened for sevendust, it was a memorable week. really good guys, to bad dave is gone he was really cool, just like hanging out with a long time friend.
