I once heard a message entitled, "Giving Up On The Brink Of A Miracle "...may God Himself help us not to do so. King Saul was to wait 7 days UNTIL Samuel came and offered up sacrifices and he would have shown Saul what to do. As it was, Saul didn't trust and obey as he should have, as you said in the song. He waited for God impatiently, anxiously, unthankfully - without proper repentance, without proper love, without proper praise, and without proper worship. He went ahead of God, and took it upon himself to offer the sacrifice, sinned against God in doing so, and lost the blessing. He brought a curse on himself instead. Beautiful song...Maybe you could do "Pray and Wait For an Answer" if you haven't already...🙂 God bless you as you trust Christ for salvation through faith. Ephesians 2:8,9,10 8.
