Thank you Lord for these 2 people. I enjoy them every week. Y’all live in the same world I do. Down to earth and Love the Lord. If we only had more like Youins.
Cory don't put your self down, please !!!! You do a great job on fabrication. You experience different avenues when doing this kind of work. Everyday is a learning experience and it will be until the day God calls us home !!! You are still very young but I speak from a 72 year old body. I love you and Hannah . Please be careful and God bless you both !!! Eddy
Under seat, this avoids any future heat issues from the engine/firewall. This also leaves room for Vintage Air install later on. Maybe a sound system-radio and a dash speaker minimum.
I watch and enjoy your videos. To have a partner who is excited about working on these old trucks is a very rare thing. I hope you realize what a lucky man you are.
You got a great deal in the signs but the drink machine was the best deal yet great job I just found your show this weekend 4/12/24 I like this type of channel just told the lady that we found our next best channel she agrees do keep up the great content love the old tow motor you have yes it needs a new carb or cleaning so that be a good show to have your best subscriber yet
Don't stress Cory. The C series trucks have a large glove compartment, and you could put a spare tire there. There is plenty of room to hide the wires.
Under the dash!! I think you will have to go to a singing talent show Hannah 😉. Another great episode and just love the Pepsi items...Love to you both from us two in the UK....👍
Cory don't sell yourself short, you are very skilled and like all the rest of us we learn something new every day. Hanna keep up on your work outs, I'm trying to get back to it and its soo hard. Thank you both for the wonderful videos. Looking forward to hearing the C10 fire up.
One of my uncles rebuilt a 68 C-10 years ago, turquoise with a white top step side. This build reminds me of that truck. Under the dash for sure, easier to access than under the seat to me. Under the carpet the harness will show unless you make a metal cover then install the carpet. Good luck.
No man not indecisive it's just the fact that your trying to out do yourself just go with ya gut it won't steer you wrong ,great buildby the way keep plodding along young fella,as for the auction well done to you both i feel miss Hannah has got the lead with the vending machine and the yellow storage can holder nice work on those .
Dang love the RC signs, I'm a RC nut. We went to the Louisville swapmeet Saturday, the crowd was crazy hard to look at everything I may start going on Sunday again, miss out on some of the good stuff but better deals and no crowd. O under the dash with pcm. Have a good night.
The last auction that I went to was about two weeks ago. They had 4 of the oil pumps that were used to fill the bottles that you opened up in this video. They were all branded for Texaco and I would have liked to got all 4 but I just got one. It came down to me a group of 3 guys who wanted all 4 but I just held up my hand and did not take down until they said that I was the winner. I looked them up on my phone before they started to sell them. The closest thing to what they were selling was listed on the web at $1K. So the $230.00 that I paid for one. I think I got a pretty good deal. I'm trying to make the outside of my shop look like a old gas station. I know real "original".
I go to dinkys usually for the Friday night auction. Lot of fun. But you can spend a lot of money really quick.. go under the dash for the ECM. for the C/10.
Dinky’s looks awesome. I would have to only bring a small amount of cash to spend too, I would want everything 😵💫I guess I never thought of the Amish community doing auctions!! I think I’ve found your next build.. buy one of the buggies and make one of the early Horseless Carriages out of it😲You might not be able to put a 12 valve in it, but then again maybe you could 😎great video and awesome progress on the C10. Slow and steady wins the wiring race🎉Have a blessed week and will be waiting on the next update 🥰
I love auctions like that. Congratulations on all the great buys. I'm so jealous that you got that pop machine so cheap I have been trying to get me one for years.
I'm with you on car wiring Cory. I don't like it either and I would hate doing a harness for computer wiring in a vehicle, I've never done it and never hope to.
Under the dash. Just like it would be from factory. You two rock by the way. We plan on eating at the restaurant. But it will be when her truck is back on the road. I got to see that thing in person. It's bad ass.
How about an Amish buggy with a mid-mounted Cummins? You had to replace the horseshoes with roller skates but other than that it shouldn't be that complicated?
Love all of y'all's auction finds guys... vintage auto stuff is super cool 😎 Google vending machine repairs, and... You should be able to fix the coin mechanism. Those older ones weren't too complex... mostly mechanical.
On your renting machine. If you look at the plug from the coin, Mac. You’ll see that the pins are numbered. Connect the wire to the number 3 pin and the number pin 5. Connector two wire leads to a button switch like a doorbell for example. When you push the button, it’ll give the machine a credit and then you can vend it.
If you are running Vintage Air on it, put the computer under the seat. The Vintage Air takes up a lot of room. I've got pictures of my 71 while I was installing my system if you want a visual.
Corey, I really hope that you file them holes down on the edges after you hole saw through that sheet metal and wires even inside those jackets rub through them sharp edges of that sheet metal promise that it’ll take a while, but it’ll destroy a harness. Never mind I see you’re putting grommets. Sorry apologies for that.
When you do your two-piece windshield, maybe you could hinge them from the top, seeing that you have to rework the frame. I think that would look cool👌
I have been watching too much RU-vid thr last 2 1/2 months, that being said I was watching a performance channel and they recommended when putting LS coils next to each other to put ever other one upside down to help eliminate electrical interference .
c10 is looking good, just a thought though might want to use high torque silicone its rated its better for using on third members its what i used on my semi third member and its recomended
under seat is fine under dash is good also just consider room for heat and ac if your going to use either ....plus the wiper motor is under the dash too on 67 -72 so remember it also
Easy decisions when you base them on if needed any future repairs which is easiest place to access it plus on the floor danger of more moisture getting to it...
My Father in law bought a bundle of plywood there, and the sheets inside had the centers cut out but a full sheet on top and bottom. He will never live it down.😂
