I think you'll make it. I wouldn't have the courage or wisdom to know who I'm talking to, but you're changing the world. You're genuinely making a change. You're reaching out for the help that you need and these videos and vlogs you make support people who aren't willing to even talk to other people. You're changing this platform and for someone like you there is always a place in the kingdom.

I have so much trouble with cleaning my house. At 60 I live alone and one of the reasons is I don’t want to inflict myself on others. I mean it’s like who could but up with me . And also I don’t want to explain why I’m like this. Because honestly I don’t know. I guess what I’m saying is a my age after relationships that were stressful and feeling less than, I finally except who I am. Love ❤️ you channel . Cheers.

I'm a mother of 2, 10 & 16 yrs. old. I struggle with cleaning, but feel so good afterwards. It's a struggle getting the cleaning started. Ughhh you just reminded me I need to clean out my fridge 😮

Your videos are so comforting I always watch it twice. First watch I’m usually multitasking and then second watch I focus on the screen lol. Now surely I’m not the only one 😅

Love the idea of the body doubling idea. As someone with ADHD I find it soooo much easier to start or complete tasks when someone is with me or when I'm on the phone. With your kitchen I think you need to remember it just looks worse because it's a small kitchen. The amount of stuff there would look like absolutely nothing in a full sized kitchen. Could be good to remember when you are feeling shame. Take care Lauren ❤

Oh your cleaning method is so me! You have to do this, so you can do the next thing to then do the original thing you started out to do. Then usually mid way I say eff it because I'm overwhelmed and it will stay that way.

I so adore your trips into London and your interaction with your mom. I can identify with a lot of your personal concerns. I’m lot older than you but have lived a lot of the same issues. Never married - used to concern me but not now cause I only have me to deal with or enjoy. Hang in there. Oh, “hi from West Virginia in the land across the pond”. And it is hard to deal with food use and waste when you’re single! 🙋🏻‍♀️👍🏻❤️

My son was the same, his grandad go drop , hide pennies in garden and my lad would go & dig for treasure. The times I’d go to wash his coat & it was full of the keys off the corn beef tins 😮. How many people in letchworth must have cursed when they got their shopping home …. But it was treasure to him 😅 . Thank you Lauren for sharing your childhood memories & reminding me of my sons ❤❤❤

Hey Lauren, i had (lets be honest still have sometimes) the same problem with the dishes, because i can never get myself doing it after i cooked a meal and i absolutely hate seeing them overflowing the sink. What really helped me for months now is making a habit of using a couple of minuntes a day when i am already in the kitchen doing someting, like boiling water for pasta/tea and just force myself to do some of the dishes during that time while i am waiting and in the kitchen either way. I can almost always finish the ones already in the sink, so it wont get even bigger and bigger. I know this might sound natural and obvious to do for someone, but it was not for me and making this a habit of mine (and doing it even when i dont want at all) made my life with the dishes so much easier. :)

So glad when Sunday at 6 pm comes around. The time just flys by. I wish I had your confidence to go out on my own.l in the dark. I don’t go anywhere in the dark unless I’m with someone. That’s out of the question, the only person I would go with is my daughter but she doesn’t want to go anywhere these days. I’m with someone but he doesn’t like driving in the dark and he’s not really into going to a show/concert. Never mind. Already looking forward to next weeks xx Stella

Great vlog!!!! Everything. I collect sea glass, but I just put in a tallish glass container. At the moment, my shells are in a clear tealight holder, with water in it..And a spider plant cut off.

So so so awesome, Lauren. That reminds me of a island that i take our boat to here in Alaska a beach full of rounded rocks that look like eggs very smooth i brought some home and put one on our wood stove it warms up and i use it as hand warmers .. 🎉

I rely on my car all the time and it’s been broken down for weeks ( probably not going to be cheap to fix) but I’m blessed that my daughter lends me her car any time I need to drive . It's alright to feel alone, but something my dad told me was that "It's okay to feel that way, but not to stay that way." I'm not sure how that would apply to you at all, because honestly, again, I don't know your story. Your body is beautiful by the way, don't let anyone tell you what you should or shouldn't do with it, but keep it healthy the way you know you should, not the way others say you should based off of how you look.

I collect seaglass too :) we get lots of clear, white-ish pieces, brown, green and occasionally blue where i live (coastal Western Canada)...id love to come across some red or pink seaglass!
