Stock KTM headlights are terrible. I think I may have finally found a good, cheap solution. While brands like the bike house and Acerbis offer really nice headlights, they're also quite expensive. Check out the install and brief test vs. stock on this cheap LED headlight!

My old RMX250 had an awesome light but on my newer KTM I think a 9 volt battery puts out a better beam. Looks good now when do we get a midnight ride from you.

Followed your steps and can’t get mine to work. Lost my running brake light as well and can’t get it back. Any ideas?

What light did you buy? The wire colors could be different.

They fit in specific number plates. As long as you have the right year plate, it'll work.

No, not the stock headlight plastic for that year. You can get an updated plastic and mount it on your bike though.

Please correct this video you’re giving incorrect information about wiring. You connected the white wire, I can clearly see your day light running lights on. From the light it’s black to brown, brown to white white to white, which from the bike has a jumper between the two whites. Only thing you did not connect is the blue which is the low beam.

Aftermarket headlights use different color wires. Check the manual.

@@ShiftGearsMoto I bought the same one. I have a 2016 xcw. If you didn’t connect the white wire from the unit your running lights wouldn’t be on. He high beam( brown wire does not light the running lights) I’ve tested this on a battery (power source) Each and every single wire. Only way to get your running lights to turn on is if you connected them. Go to your garage and check. It’s just two rubber bands.

@@ShiftGearsMoto that’s why I came here to watch how to wire it. When I did it your way only the high beams came on running lights stayed off. When I hooked the white wire the running lights came on with high beam.
