That bird mama sure picked the right place to make a nest! She got a lot of room, nice, soft dirt, and even room service! She's pretty, too. You can just look at her face from the front and see she's beautiful. She must also be very hungry - and grateful for such a nice landlord.😊
@@fehryn7369 I've had MANY nests on my balcony (with at least one cat in attendance). Many have been repeat guests and I've never bothered them, but this parent looks pretty desperate. I'm not aware of how this particular species nests, but I do notice that there's not one piece of "nest" here, nor a partner - at least not at this particular time. The bird parent is obviously starved because taking that food from someone while in that nest with the eggs is highly irregular. It doesn't even seem that the parent is trying to warm the eggs. I wonder if this parent knows how to raise the chicks and if they survive at all it will probably be because of that person's help. So I don't think this person is doing anything wrong - just helping the parent in some way.
If birds make a choice to breed close to humans, they chose. Sure they are always suspicious when it comes to eggs and chicks but they take respectful distance as part of their life following us into our cultural environment. Some birds as other writers mentioned come back every year, never beeing tamed, never bonding to people, but always knowing where is a secure spot. @@fehryn7369
Actually they are really smart & learn to make friends pretty quick once they get to know you. I rescued a male Kestrel with a broken leg. I couldn’t believe how friendly he became. He ate really well & didn’t even want to leave at first once his leg was healed. Crows are awesome too. I really hate the fact there’s a hunting season for crows. Supposedly they are as smart as a seven year old in some aspects. Owls, not so much. Some are not as sociable. Some breeds of chickens seem smarter than the others. The miniature fancy chickens kept as pets seem more intelligent. Maybe because they interact a lot more with humans than a farm chicken.
I live in the area. This story made it to the news a few times. These people are super wholesome and one of the young birds came back and now has its young at the same spot behind their window. (By the way - it's a lady feeding them. And they later upgraded the windowsill, now they have an umbrella there and a wooden board to keep the sounds from the highway a bit down.)
been reading the other comments here, looks like this happened in Prague and started a family tradition! (after the babies hatched and flew off, one of them came back to lay her own eggs) "well, guess we're bird breeders now" "i'll go get the fish"
Whoever you are and wherever you may be, in my eyes you are very fortunate to have the honor to take care of this beautiful bird. Lucky you!!! Nice work😊
Yeah, she does look young. She definitely picked the right spot to build a nest though, so it’s obvious her instincts are on point. She’s such a gorgeous hawk too…..that face is absolutely stunning!
She does look young, but she picked the perfect spot to build a nest so we know her instincts are on point lol Such a gorgeous hawk….her face is stunning!
This is actually really nice of him because birds of prey have to work super hard to eat and younger birds fail to catch their prey the vast majority of the time, often they starve the first year. She really appreciated the help.
Although do remember to also recognize proper limits. If you want to help look up how to do it properly or mind your own buisness. Far too many people interfere more than they should with nature out of a sense of altruism and just end up causing more harm than good.
This is absolutely beautiful!!!❤❤ thank you for taking care of that beautiful mother bird!!!!❤❤❤ your a very special person and have such a loving caring heart. THANK YOU!!!!
This is the way life's supposed to be help something in need with nothing in return but the beauty of her and the kids when there born if everyone was like this ,this world would be a much better place but most people only care about what they can get from helping
Thank you to the beautiful soul for caring for this equally beautiful and amazing creature....You can see it in her eyes how grateful and safe she feels...Her hunger is one less thing she has to worry about while caring for her precious babies....I just love this !!! 🥰🫶❤️

Aww thank you kind human!! Mommas need their strength after giving birth. Momma hawk knew she would be safe with her babies on your window sill. She is beautiful! What an honor to be chosen by such a magnificent bird.❤🪶
Wow, how blessed are you! Having a beautiful hawk call your home her home. And you get a front row seat to be a part of her life and her babies journey!! Incredibly amazing. Thanks for keeping them safe and feeding momma!
Awww that’s so sweet & the way she trusts you & didn’t fly away but hopped over to get the food you offered was amazing. She obviously watches you thru the window same as you watch her & she has decided you are kind human. How amazing that you have such a great view to watch as that little Family emerge right before your eyes. She is a beautiful Hawk or Eagle not sure which but just a beautiful Bird of Prey. ❤️😊👍🏼
@@bobchonko8771 Critical, BOB, of someone expressing themselves in a way YOU don't appreciate?!? Do you complain when people's Tears don't flow at a funeral, or patriotic parade?!? I learned, as my mother grew less responsive in emotional ways, the last 10 or more years of her life, that people often lose the response mechanisms necessary for tears!! Who Knew?!?, but the thing I Knew was that judgement can be a Really Lousy Thing ... and is generally Wrong, Anyway!! 😢 As they say, "Take a Chill Pill, BOB." 😒🧐🤔☺️🤗🥰
That is a total Blessing that she chose her flower box to lay her eggs. God Bless her beautiful soul. I think the bird knows this about her and it's the safest place for her babies to hatch. This made me happy cry.🥲🥹
My aunts' church in green valley az, had an Owl nest by their window and flower bed. The congregation got the joy of watching, and the owls got the joy of music on Sundays, for sure. 😊. Thank u, kind human, for helping.❤❤❤❤❤

God bless the caregiver of this lovely lady hawk. She’s guarding her eggs, so she can’t feed herself properly. Your kindness makes all the difference in the world to this beautiful member of wildlife.
Not likely. Although it is hard to tell how they will identify themselves. Likely not even a hawk like the poster of this video sugest. I see a falcon. Kestrel I would guess, but I am not the expert to ask. Sure looks like it, and not like any hawk I have seen. Hundred percent sure this is not an owl, and out of those eggs will not be comming Amy owls either. Unless someone switched the eggs.
@@lc4life369 most birds of prey are trainable and can acclimatize to close human presence. Considering the location this bird is clearly used to humans and given it accepted the food I doubt it considers this location a risk.
To be able to witness this is extraordinary. Essentially they made a little Sanctuary for this mama, she obviously feels Safe now she has help keeping an eye her and her eggs its Amazing. Caretakers, Protectors you have a huge heart❤ Thank you for your compassion and love of animals. You are truly an inspiration❤
