Roll up some green filter sponge & put out down the hole in the eazy section needs cleaning every couple of day's but does a fantastic job at catching fines & cheap as chips

Your right Andy, get rid of the blanket weed. Every time the fish chew on the blanket weed. The fines will come out of the weed.

Great video Andy, those sturgeon and stingray were awesome. With my nexus, I have issues with clarity, I’ve tried playing with flow rate when it was on the old pond, think I need to have another play 👍🏼👌🏼

Thanks mate hopefully he will find the flow rate sweet spot for his pond, and he may consider adding an upflow filter to help with it as well.

With nexuses you have to run beed I found the best away or proting skimmer

You do kown nexuses make lot fines and one one auto kits lest all.dirty go into bio side as well

Old school, pump in the pond, into a basket with floss, or pond underlay, that inside a larger tote/box returning straight to pond, if the floss blocks it can just overflow the basket into the tote and return to pond, takes alot of cleaning to start with, and it isn't pretty, but it does work very well,

Different grades of foam in a baki shower set up and reduced flow going through it. Clean foams every week or two.

Hi Andy, the Nexus are an excellent well proven filter, but I've never used one, so I can't comment. What size UV Clarifier is he using? I would maybe look at increasing the size, or adding another, or just slowing the flow through it. As you know, green water is caused by algae bloom, which is only 3 micron in size, and too small for any filter to remove. Passing through the UV light kills the bloom algae and also sticks it together, making it big enough to be filtered out of the water. If the UV is only killing the algae bloom and not sticking it together, it can leave you with cloudy water, as it's too small to be filtered. Just a thought mate. Take care, Terry.

I have the nexus, Great filter but not at collecting fines. I added an upflow filter, I copied the one you built and it made a huge difference, as you say the blanket weed needs addressing first. The stingray were interesting to see, Great video as usual Andy 😊

Quite the set up. I thought my sturgeon were large at 36 inches but compared to the ones Richard has mine look like guppies. 😢 Those stingrays were awesome. I've never seen any that size other than in a public aquarium. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻he gets his Nexus at just the right flow rate and gets the water clarity he's looking for. 👍🏻
