I did this for my yard. One thing I wish I did was add some manure to the lawn. Maybe chicken manure and I wanted to add some humichar before adding the seed. This would ensure a heavy ammount of nitrogen in the lawn and other needed nutrients. Good soil= great lawn

Have you thought of getting a truck delivery for your soil/ sand and ask the driver to drop it at the 3 locations. Maybe slip them an extra $10-20 it's got to be way cheaper option to all the bags.

Yes , that crown ! Removing that crown and making the edges as flat as possible gives the lawn a completely different look. Specially if you mow low, it will can look like fake grass.then people trip out it’s real haha But if that crown is there, it just takes away from the look. Also less chance of scalping edges when it’s flat.

Oh yeah I used Turf Titan since the beginning of the project and it germinated faster and speeding quicker than most bentgrass vids I’ve seen on RU-vid! Today I can see a lot more clumps coming in! I’m so excited! 😊👊🏾🙏🏾🤙🏾

@@mrRoverkane it's a small yard. Most of the backyard is retaining wall and concrete patio. The front is in decent shape but the back is not level, full of weeds and was full of roots. I dug a bunch of roots out this past spring but it's still rough. I'm getting the weeds under control and trying to prepare for some fall over-seeding

What a fantastic neighbour you are!👏 Nice to see the Webb in use again. I bought one on your say so, and I love it. 1:08 I found the height setting slips sometimes. The tightening knob/wing nut is a poor design. The nut is held in by friction only and slips, not allowing you to apply enough torque. I've got the nuts out and put back in using loctite. This works for now, but I plan to replace with a nyloc hex nut or knurled thumb nut Pretty sure its an M8 thread without checking.

As a dog lover and a lover of my yard. I completely understand why you wouldn't want anyone just walking their dog in the back back. I struggle daily with pee spots and have tried dozens ways while spending thousands of $$ on supplements for him to chemicals for the lawn. I still havent found the best tricks yet. There are times i want to tell myself to stay out of the grass.

Anytime I have a friend over and the dog has to pee in the back yard I make note of where they went and then hit it with water humic acid and kelp and i've never seen a dead spot! GS Plant foods has an affordable root ruckus combo of kelp and humic... I do an ounce in a full watering can.... I spray water first hard all over the spot then apply the product 😊🤙🏾

My buddy in Germany uses barenbrug SOS Ultrifine Engels raaigras as well as barenbrug bar fescue festuca rubra commutata / litoralis He cuts super low and his lawn is amazing! 😊🤙🏾🙏🏾👊🏾
