Welcome to the new series on my channel, in which I will look at and review some overlooked or unrated levels, with the goal of helping the creators in getting them rated in the end.
I hope you can enjoy the series and maybe I am able to shine some light on those levels that I think deserve more attention.
If you have any feedback or want to request a level to me to look at, you can do that in the comments, on Twitter, in my GD messages or in my Discord DMs. They are always open for everyone. You will find the review of the level below.

-------❰ Review ❱-------
We are back with another level that has gotten a rating already a while ago, but I still wanted to cover it, mainly because I think it is really nice and the creator has a lot of potential. Maybe this can help them making a name for themselves and improve a bit as well.
I was really surprised on how much I liked the visuals in this level. Most people would consider this a neo design type level and I am usually not the biggest fan of them, because they tend to not have a lot of variety in a lot of cases, but I found this level to have some charm to it. I don't think the level does anything super special or unique, but I really like how connected everything feels and especially how well connected the level is to the song. I do like the colors in this, they are nicely chosen and also rarely seen together from what I know. They work together really well in my opinion, but I still think there could have been a bit more variety overall. The lack of pulses or color changes make the level become a bit boring after a while. I do like how it adds black as a big part of its design at a later point, but for me that wasn't really enough. I am also personally not the biggest fan of using gradient triggers as backgrounds, but I think it is a totally viable choice and it doesn't feel to out of place here. Another thing I would wanna mention is that the level sadly lacks movements and dynamic elements, which could have helped it look a lot more cleaner and interesting in my opinion. It does have some really nice area effects and the 2.0 flame overlay, but I don't think that is enough for me personally.
Gameplay wise I think the level works really well too. I like the slope gimmick in the beginning and I think it presents itself as a really solid and fun non demon. Nothing felt particularly out of place or unfair to me, so it should be an enjoyable experience for everyone. Especially the UFO at 0:43 was nice, as it played really, really well to the song. It's the only part of the level that purely focuses on sync in terms of gameplay, which can feel a bit out of place in some levels, but this wasn't the case here at all, it created a really fun part of the level and a worthy ending to a solid project.
I am really surprised how well this level does, considering I have never heard of the creator before and it is clearly their first 2.2 level. They have created some rated levels in the past and I think it shows for sure, as the colors and structures, as well as the representation of the song are really nice overall. There are some flaws I came across though, as I would have liked the level to be a bit more dynamic overall as well as with its colors. There are barely any pulses or movements and it does drag down the level in the end for me. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it got rated, especially when it got a feature rating, as I didn't expect this to get anything above a star rate. Personally I would have probably sent it for a star rate as well, because I think the lack of dynamic elements and the overall really similar colors make me come to that conclusion. Overall it is a really nice level though and I hope ninq will be back with more in the future. Well done!
