[Helping Hand #44] "Cosmina" by NeyvaShift // Review 

Welcome to the new series on my channel, in which I will look at and review some overlooked or unrated levels, with the goal of helping the creators in getting them rated in the end.

This is a level I found some time ago on RU-vid and I was wondering why this never got rated. NeyvaShift has a really unique and incredibly clean design style and it is usually something that doesn't get as little attention as this did.
As previously mentioned, the designs and visuals in this project are super clean and very well thought out. I am a huge fan of the glow usage and the colors that the level presents itself with, it looks really vibrant and upbeat, which fits the song super well, something that is always very nice to see. What most people would probably point our here is that the level does look very similar to the creators previous works, they do not really stand out too much from one another, which I think is fine though, as long as the individual quality is given. I also think it would be interesting to see the creator experiment with something less monochromatic as well, as the level does have a lot of pulses and color changes, but the overall designs are mostly monochromatically oriented. Something I really liked is the part at 0:44. The way the structures are represented together with the very well used 2.0 rainbow blocks is something I rarely see and I think it was executed super well.
In terms of gameplay the level was also very enjoyable for me. I think everything flowed really well together, I enjoyed the variety in gamemodes and gameplay elements and I also found it to be very nicely balanced overall. I did find the 0:36 ship part a bit difficult in the beginning, due to some portal placements, but that is the only part that I straight up found harder than the rest. Something that could be pointed out is that the level has some very strict buffer clicks that could be a bit confusing at first, mainly the first yellow orb and some clicks in the 1:12 ball part. Other than that I didn't find anything missing in the gameplay personally, I enjoyed my time with it for sure.
I think overall this level is very, very well made, as expected from an experienced creator like NeyvaShift. The visuals are super clean and very fitting to the overall atmosphere, there are some very unique design elements used, which is always nice and the gameplay is fun and very well balanced towards the suggested difficulty. The only things I could find that I would like to see changed in some of their future levels is that they maybe experiment more with multicolored designs, as I think due to that not being the case usually, some of their levels tend to be a bit too similar after all while. But even with all this said I would give this a feature send if I was a mod and I hope this level can get rated in the future. From what I know NeyvaShift did build this as their last project, so I hope whatever they are doing now is going well. And if they ever come back, I will make sure to keep my eyes open for some more of their levels.
