The first Sunday of Jeep Safari Week we were asked to help out with recovery for the ‪@onXOffroad‬ Build Challenger. It's a build series put on with 3 teams to see who can win a spot on Ultimate Adventure. We got to help them attempt to run Moab Rim Trail in completely stock vehicles. It was a fairly short day, but lots of fun. Hung out with friends, met alot of new friends, had a great time. Thank you to OnX Offroad for sponsoring this video. Trailmater is a thing of beauty! Loving all the camera angles of Trailmater. The 80 series Landcruiser disguised as a Lexus is very capable, but so are Rudy and Michelle and Bleepin Jeep. Great to see all of them on Rory's channel, looking forward to the progress.👍🙂

I'm rooting for Rudy in the Ramcharger, but I think Nate in the 80 series is going to win. Also, I felt nothing watching Nate beat up the 80, but I'm so afraid for the poor Ram. Those are so rare these days.

Sweet Video and nice change of pace!! Cool to watch stock vehicles wreck themselves on these obsticles. Goes to show you how easy modified vehicles make some of these obsticles look when in all reality they are super difficult obsticles. Keep up the awesome content fellas!!

That Dodge “blazer” is a Ramcharger. Back in 1974 I walked into a chevy dealer to buy a brand new Blazer and the saleman said I couldn’t test drive it until I had the papers signed. I left and went down the street and ended up buying a brand new Dodge Ramcharger. One of the first one’s sold.

I was rooting for the S10 because it was a true underdog and I seriously expected the Dodge to struggle just for the fact I used to own one. I was surprised the Lexus performed as well as it did. I really wasn’t to see the square body S10 get modified. Thanks for sharing.

If it’s going off just the vehicles I don’t want the Lexus to win, I am a fcking huge Toyota fan (owned several 70’s +80’s and hilux’s) but it will be quite refreshing to see something crappy like the s10 being built for a change

I've been using OnX for 3 years now including in Moab. I wouldn't run a trail without it and the trail downloaded. It's as important as my winch, shovel and tools.

Rory has to help someone on about every trail ride he goes on especially this stock class one. I remember (the bodystyle S10 that was here) you had to go out on the right inner fender and manually pull the 4X4 cable after your vacuum actuator busted. It still worked the same but just not from inside. This kind of day has Rory smiling from ear to ear being able to help so many and to offer his knowledge to them. I don't remember who was suppose to sponsor this crawl but it's all A Rory show.

the Lexus does pretty good considering it has highway tires and the other teams are more appropriate tires. Too bad they didn't find a 98/99 Land Cruiser with the locking rear diff, would have helped a lot. Be interesting to see how Rory could do driving those rigs, much better I'll bet.

I'm in an area where off-roading is 100 miles away. I got 4wd for snow here. I'm always wondering how a stock vehicle would do on that trail, now I know. Thanks for posting another awesome content.
