You return home from work to find your roommate in the dark, huddled on the couch with all his stuffed animals. You knew it was only a matter of time before she'd break his heart...
(Hey listener. Put on some headphones maybe? Just if you don't mind. This audio came from a simple idea I received in an email, though it was very loose the way I followed it. Perhaps I'll revisit it more faithfully in the future, it would just turn out to be a decent bit longer.
I hope you don't have firsthand experience with how this feels because it's never any fun. But it's a good reminder that it's always important to spend time with those who care! I hope you have a lovely, lovely night.)

I love his description of how he wishes we didn’t need to go through these types of things.🥺 I couldn’t help but smile so sympathatically with the character because it’s so sad, how his voice was so nearly on the verge of tears. It's never easy. Speaking from experience I wish nobody would have to experience the heartache but I think it's also part of growing and learning how to love and...ahh being human I guess. The performance is the fun part! Sometimes it’s hard to give myself permission to work at a more comfortable pace but I’m working at it!! 3:05 “but in the end it was just a lie.. i’m sorry, how’s work?” sent me laughing bc it was such an abrupt change- i don’t think it was an appropriate reaction. i love angst audios (despite it making me uncomfortable) so this is perfect. a tiiiiiiny request, i like audios where couples argue and it gets reaaally intense but it dies down and they resolve it in the end. idk i thought it could give you an idea but as i’m typing it down it kinda sounds dumb lolol you’ve probably read this a hundred times already, but you portray emotions so well. each shaky breath and even the timbre of your voice is so natural and realistic. there’s not a second that sounds stiff or awkward. great job as always! :)
