fr I was able to pickup a 01 I was kind of skeptical about the 4.7l because of all the bad stories I've heard about them but I havent had many issues with it even though it has over 200k on the clock only thing I had issues where was the rust (kinda expected for a wisconsin truck and it being over 20 years old) but other then the minor issues every once in awile I love the truck for the power and the way it drives
I had a 2005 4.7. I did some changes. I added and changed things. Brother in law wouldnt drive it. He said that motor has stupid power! Used a Superchips tuner to play with tune. At a light, people in camaros and mustangs would think its a truck. Until they couldnt keep me off there tail
I have an entirely stock 01 dak RT in pitch black.. 186 made in USA.. l I wanted to put a hemi in it however I came down to it just going to leave it stock. Runs like a champ and hasn’t done me wrong
Compact trucks were regulated out of existence by us fuel economy standards and the magnum was no more anchant than the small block chevy which date's back to 1955 or the ford Windsor ford that dated back to the early 60s that were its primary competitors at the time .
