Yes the tune is a 93 octane high performance tune that we’re still dialing in, but man there is a HUGE!!! Performance gain. The truck will move!Sean over at Hemifever knows how to tune these Hemi’s. My gear ratio is 3.21. I plan to do a review in the near future so keep your eyes peeled, but I can say with 100% that Hemifever tuning blows Diablo tune out the water.
Just read your review that Hemifever blows Diablo out of the water, why not install Hemifever’s stuff and not bother with Diablos? My truck to has 3:21 gears. I’m wondering how my truck would do on either 87 or maybe 89. I definitely want to experience how yours is acting.
I installed Diablo’s tune first because I was waiting to get my Tune from Sean. Plus I wanted to experience both so I could give a fair review/comparison of the two. Hemifever is definitely the way to go.
So why do you have to go through all the hassle with the new tunes Only to send the information to Hemifever and then go back to stock and download even more stuff? I’m confused. Why can’t Hemifever just do something to your tuner before all this?
For some reason the Trinity II tuner was acting up when I did this video. You shouldn’t have to revert to stock before install a new tune. The Trinity II comes straight from Diablo so there is no Hemifever Tunes installed on it. You get a few different preloaded options from Diablo. Hemifever tuning is Completely custom to your specific vehicle and modifications. You have to send all your information to Sean and he will build you a custom tune for your truck with all your current modifications. Then you’ll install that tune/tunes on your Trinity. It’s always good to check for tuner updates while you have the Trinity plugged into your computer. It just keeps Everything updated and you shouldn’t run into problems later down the road.
