FYI - there's one other way into the Frank Church Wilderness. There's still a dozen or so (maintained) back country airstrips. I've heard there are other places to land too if you're brave enough. Other than that, you come down the Salmon River on a raft or hoof it in.

Idaho towns have hospitality about them and they are personable to people, not the Sun Valley area! No way! Why, because most of the people who live there now are stuck-up a-holes from places like California, Seattle, Denver, Chicago and New York. Papa would HATE IT there today! I've met many of the old timers that were born and lived there for decades. They're the ones who have pointed this out to me.

I have no patience for ignorant humans who murder their fellow beings----One would think that they could see that all creatures should be able to enjoy this beautiful land--- However, IDAHO I love---Lived in this glorious state for 10 yrs. and still miss it!
Despite what his "guide" says, those look like rainbow stockies. The adipose fins are clipped. The only truly "wild" indigenous trout in Idaho are cutthroat trout. The Middle Fork of the Salmon is famous for its cutthroat trout, but those are not cuts that they are cooking in the pan.
Very unfortunate for Idaho to be inundated with refugees from the west coast...mostly California but also Oregon and Washington. They've ruined the mountain west.
