Here’s a deadly little chironomid larvae fly pattern (bloodworm fly pattern) based on the our new "hemoglobin" Window Tint capes! Took us a while to find it but it absolutely nails the look of our local chironomid larvae! Use it on its own or overwrap it with the buzzer wrap like in the video, either way both styles will be sure to drop some bobbers🤘🏻

Fantastic looking fly pattern. Thank you for sharing. I just went onto your site and ordered the tint in red, chameleon and light. I can't wait to recieve it and whip up some bugs. I've been doing several chromies using asb as well so I look forward to ice off here in utah to put them to good use. Thanks for all the great videos and tight lines from your neighbor.

Hi Brandon so glad you are back as tied a lot of your flies and they murder fish here in Scotland, will for sure give this new pattern a go and let you know how i get on pal, i take it best to fish under a bung our would it best fish straight line pal. All the best and tight lines Peter.

Do you fish this near the bottom of a lake or are they all through the water column?

I have both Fl Smoke and Smoke buzzer wrap. The Smoke is a slightly darker shade of grey. Is it the shade of grey or the Fluorescence you don't like? Both seem to glow under UV light?

The non UV smoke should not reflect UV light.

And is this actual window tint, or just a ever name for the material. Sorry for the questions, but I'm relatively new to tying and am trying to educate myself.

It is actually window tint. Stop by the local car glass shop and see if you can pick some up. It's tough to cut though. Sometimes it's best to get it from a supplier.

Could you use Scud Back for this I don't have any of the window tint material as of yet.

Scud back is a bit thick but would still work just be sure to not overlap too much.
