This Tank is a Beast for it's size. When you pick up one of these you'll be surprised how much heavier than the plastic versions. Plastic track versions are awesome too, but the pro version is the way to go if you can afford it. If you don't mind losing some run time..... Get a bigger battery...!!!
OR, You can always upgrade to metal tracks and drive sprockets later as I'm doing on my other 2 plastic upgrade (Steel Gears) models.

I still prefer planes and things that fly, but needed to scratch an itch for tanks I've had for a few years now ever since Marty brought that big 1:8 Stuart over for me to try and fix.... LOL

Very nice tank. I have myself the Heng long king tiger. With metal wheels, tracks, and gear boxes. What's the difference between the pro version and promotional versions? I"m thinking of pickup up this tank. I just ordered the Mato German Tiger 1. Is all metal. I'm still waiting on delivery from China. Should be about another month or two, lol.

Thanks buddy. The promotional version or version s is just steel gearbox and plastic tracks and wheels. Worth the extra 100 for pro versions. Or upgrade yourself at higher price. Duh , like I did... LOL 😂

Awesome buddy. Send me a link for the Amazon store page for the Merkava. It's Nicer than I expected. Not too hot about all those cheap little balls and chains though. My eyes will go nuts after 15 minutes....LOL

@@SkipBuiltRC ok thanks I just ordered the Heng Long Merkava from Amazon the pro edition, now I need to order another pro edition but I cannot decide which one to get I kind of do want an enemy tank to battle against the Merkava... do you have any suggestions? Thanks

@@BIGGBULLxxx oh yeah. I already got the Leopard upgrade, but taking it back to upgrade to pro. I really like the Leo. But the Challenger 2 is a beauty also. The Challenger was also my first pick. Already got metal tracks for it. Worth the upgrade. 💪

@@SkipBuiltRC So which one to go for the Leopard or Challenger 2... The Challenger was on my mind also , but I want a big tank about the size of the Merkava also which one perform the best the leopard or Challenger thanks

@@BIGGBULLxxx dude I have to be honest with you I'm just plain like both. Best clearance on the Leopard but the Challenger is tad wider. Track width is the same. Challenger is visually pleasant while the Leopard is kinda dark. Both assemble about the same time. If given the choice I would have pro of both. I think however that the leopard will probably outperform as far as being able to go over stuff because it has better clearance, buy a very small amount, and 1 extra wheel each side. Both ride nice

Hi the tank came but it doesn't say pro version on the box it says S version on the box I haven't opened it yet is that the same as the pro version

My s versions came with steel gears but plastic tracks and wheels for about 100.00-120.00 less than the pro versions. Yours may have been upgraded from that if you ordered from Amazon/Toucan Hobby ??? Just a note, I'm pretty happy with just putting the metal drive wheels and tracks on the s versions. Only thing different from pro is the road wheels and barrel recoil. But the added weight is close to the pro by only half a pound. They added 3.66 lbs. on the Leopard and an add'l 2.75 lbs on the T-90 which now can actually go over stuff now with ease. Let me know what you got. Now I'm really curious...LOL Good Luck.

@@SkipBuiltRC I'm afraid of opening the box just in case they want me to send it back. I contacted them but I haven't heard anything yet, before I ordered these tanks they were talking to me left and right now I cannot get them 😞. So I called Amazon and told them the situation and they contacted them and they usually get back to Amazon much quickly. Also I saw a video where this guy had the same sticker on his and it was the pro version, and then I saw another video it had the same sticker but it had steel gears but plastic tracks 😵‍💫 so that's why I'm waiting to open it what a shame.

@@BIGGBULLxxx it's Amazon so even if you open the box it can still be returned. I would at least take a look inside. You can open it carefully and reseal it if need be. But seriously. They have to go with Amazon's Policy. I'd open it to see.

Skip I was about to buy the leopard tank pro version but on my Abrams M1A2 pro version tank the turret will not turn 😵‍💫 it will turn so much and then it will stop and just start clicking what a shame and my Pastor was coming over to battle it out with me. We was going to have the battle of the saints 🤣Lol. But I contacted toucan hobby I sent them video that shows what it doing and it is only 2 days old. The turret had a jerk to it when I first tried it and I sent video to toucan hobby and they said that was normal... Yeah right. And now it doesn't work anymore DAG NABBIT 😵‍💫. Toucan told me to send it back to them for repair they will pay for shipping both ways. I will put up a video of the problem thanks for listening. 🙏😇🙏

Oh man. So sorry to hear that. Probably just a turret motor. Mine screamed at first on the Abrams. I used some super lube and it was better but not gone. I had motion send me a motor for it for when it Fry's. Unless it is the split ring cable that allows the turret to do 360. Good luck with it. 2 of 4 I bought had issues.

@@SkipBuiltRC well that put a hold on me buying that leopard tank for now. I like the mechanics of the Merkava turret so far it is much better. I'm waiting on the return label from toucan hobby to come to my email.
