During mens alpine skiing wc slalom, protestants interrupted the slalom race in 2. run in Gurgl and Henrik Kristoffersen were having none of it!!

Henrik Kristoffersen claimed the protestants in slalom Gurgl destroyed the race for the remaining racers Feller, Noel etc. Showing he doesn't care he lost, he still wants them to have a good race. But the protestants had no respect.

Damn I can't believe I missed this. Wouldn't have thought that climate protests hit Alpine Skiing as well even though I've seen it at multiple other sports already including some other winter sports.

I watched the race on tv, went to toilet for 2 mins, came back to see "RACE INTERRUPTED" in red, camera zooming out, and a bunch of red/orange liquid on the finish, I was so scared that smt bad happened/or that smn got seriously hurt, until I found a video on yt showing them spraying their stuff( eurosport went into ads segment)

Local Austrian from the area surrounding the race speaking .. As much as i understand his grieve and frustration on a personal/professional level, i have little empathy for his alleged lack of „respect“ shown by protesters towards events like these. I want participants to „respect“ the area surrounding the race, which is my home and happens to be strongly affected by climate change. Fact is, our beloved alps are literally melting away underneath our feet - the industry needs to change, so i dont mind a few splashes of colour in order to raise awareness for my home‘s protection in the long-run 🤞🏻

@@rnies6849 doesn’t matter what you opinion about climat change, the reasons for this Protests are the opposite of egoistic. Overall, he lost the race because he was to slow, and let out his frustration on a group of people who had nothing todo with his shitty racing, like a little child…

He's actually doing it for the racers left on top, who are disturbed in preparation for their run. He's making no excuses for his own effort. So this is actually a prime example of sportmanship. Also kudos til Seb Solevaag, the Norwegian racer who dragged one of the protesters out of the hill. I support the protesters case, but this is not the place or means to get your point across. It is counter productive.

Agressive Klimaterroristen sind das Letzte! Die sollen dir mal den Job wegnehmen und dann reden wir weiter. Sportler ist übrigens ein ordentlicher Beruf, der Typ hat vermutlich 100x soviel gearbeitet wie du.

Henrik Kristoffersen hat vollkommen richtig reagiert es kann doch nicht sein das solche Klimaideoten so eine tolle Veranstaltung zu einer Unterbrechung zwingen !

erfahrungsgemäß kann man gegen Geisteskrankheit nur das tun, dass man diese Leute in ärztliche Behandlung in eine psychiatrische Klinik einweist.
