Dunno about that. Scottish players dont go for their full value tbh... Kieran Tierney would have cost £50 million if he went from Everton to Arsenal. Same for Dembele... they'd be lucky to get £35 mil for French Eddie even tho hes worth double. Not sure how much a 28 or 29 year old Larsson would be going for
What a player tells you all you need to know when Man Utd & Barcelona as ign him in his later career then at 35 wins the champions league for Barca the best thing he ever did was take Feyenoord to court so he could be sold for £650,000 he could have walked into any team & fitted perfectly today he's still the king of kings hh
Now that he has left his Swedish club Celtic should swoop for Larson and involve him in the coaching. What an inspiration for all players there. Don't delay Celtic
They broke the mould when they made King Henrik. He was always my favourite player as I grew up supporting Ra Bhoys and the only players who even come close to him in my estimation are Stan Petrov and Lubo Moravcic and even those 2 still fall a little short. If we ever get another player like Henrik who doesn't give a shit about money and just using Celtic as a stepping stone to get to "better" leagues, and puts his LOVE of the club over money, which I honestly don't think we ever will, if we find one, then that'll be when we MIGHT be able to dream of another Seville, only having a happier ending!!! Hail Hail C.O.Y.B.I.G
29 clubs were interested in him when he left Celtic and of course he ended up at Barcelona. The Daily Record, ever on top of events, at one point ran the headline "Larsson for Birmingham." FFS...
650k release clause mate but that's nitpicking as you might bd confusing that with the moravcik fee . Anyway appreciate the positive comment . Its decent of you to say and put petty differences aside .
@@christopherr3676 another rangers fan here, yeah I think Larsson will be the last world class player to grace a Scottish pitch for league game. Might get the odd weird one like Madisson at Aberdeen (not saying he's world class btw, just meaning young player before their prime) or and old one seeing out his career like say Jermaine Defoe (again not world class just the only recent example I can think of) but I doubt well ever see the likes of Larsson, Laudrup, Gascoigne in Scotland again.
Saying that VVD is up there but I think even Celtic fans can admit they didn't see him getting as good as he's got, great player for Celtic but no one expected him to be arguably the best CB in world when fit.
@@Garngad_bhoy honourable mention to Bobby murdoch . Stein himself said when murdoch plays celtic plays . Not underrated as such but there was no better midfielder in world football than murdoch in his prime
So was a mate, all you herd round the streets off Lyon even in very early hours was you are my Larsson, one game when nobody was interested in actual football score,
