Great commentary.....you shed some light on my swing which is similar to Henricks. I have trouble with my driver and Tend to hit a 3 or even a 5 wood off the tee anywhere from 230 to 260 yards. Beats being in the woods! Thanks
Great analysis. I struggle hitting my driver and an upper body lunge which tends to create a high to low angle of approach may be the culprit. I feel so much more comfortable hitting my 3 wood and irons that I most often hit very few drivers in practice. When I hit the driver I feel like I have to make a completely different swing. Once again, great analysis.
Great video. I think of Henrik's motion every time I'm in the fairway on a par 5. I wish you had started his motion just as he is going into his 'forward press' and how the press influences his downward swingpath and opens the face at impact. 🐈
I set my driver to 12 degrees loft so I don't need to alter my tee shot swing. I like it better than a 3 wood because it is more forgiving of off center hits and I feel more confident with it.
I started playing just 3w instead of drivers but sometimes I just sky the ball because I use a too tall tee peg. Do you recommend having no peg or just a short one off the tee?
That's certainly an issue. I personally would work on the differences between the swings so that you can benefit from a driver. But still, hitting a 3 wood for some produces the greatest distance consistently.
