Used to own one of these. Such a beautiful rifle and a real performer too. Really just love shooting 22WMR. Sometimes i ask myself why I traded it in, but then I look at my 30-30 Henry and remind myself lol.
Sweet lever action in a cool caliber. I've always like 22 mag, its a light but fast round and, I truly think if you can get good with the firearm and consistently have good shot placement, it's capable of of doing damage or kill even with a bigger animal.
I bought them in both and then in a pump just cause they so damn awesome. The LR is a golden boy. Mag is the original. Plan on buying a LR in the h1 as well.
Great shooting with the irons what distance were you from the target? The Henry fire arms are very well made and backed for a lifetime. Yours looks very nice I love the wood on it.
What’s the distance to target I been a huge 22 mag fan for a few decades 3 or 4 at least Very accurate for a peep sight shot off the tailgate of a truck
Now spin it around your finger like a peace maker while simultaneously cocking the lever and chambering a round so that it's ready for another shot by the time it hits your shoulder. You have to do it in one fluid motion with your buddy standing there holding your beer because you said "hold my beer and watch this shit" or it doesn't count.
Their hearts are enormous and will pump the blood out very quickly compared to some other large game. The Inuit use em for caribou for this reason. Along with affordability.
