We own two of these, both with cheap scopes...they are our primary plinking guns, shooting cheap bulk at 4 inch targets at 100 yards...we don't hit the targets every time, which is part of the fun, even better are golf ball sized targets, which can drive us crazy trying to hit...the guns are reasonably accurate (minute of squirrel) at 50 yards with better ammo used...we have never had a problem with either gun, and they are easy to clean...we are seniors (that why we have scopes, can't see 100 yards in detail), and blowing up a half box of ammo is our cheap fun...the missus is a better shot than I am, so we go to the range often...
You’re not supposed to load it while the rifle is straight up and down. It can cause jams. You should hold the rifle more horizontally, with enough vertical tilt to allow the rounds to slide down the magazine tube.
Rat or snake shots are for close range. You shoot at 15 yards I thought. That's way too far! I think 5 meters is the limit. Hope the butterfly survived.....
