I suspect there is nothing a wrong with your HENRY Revolver (I'm not 100% certain). It appears like you might be SHORT STROKING the trigger. That is after pulling the trigger to the rear you are not letting the trigger RESET by letting the trigger back all the way out to the beginning/ ready position. HENRY will respect their warranty I'm sure if I'm wrong. SHORT STROKING is common in shotgun malfunctions too. It's not actually the shotgun or revolver that is malfunctioning, it is the operator failing to RESET the trigger.
I bought this exact henry revolver and had the same exact issue you are having! I had to send mine back to henry and they apparently fixed the issue. I'm still disappointed, these are not cheap....
Thanks for the heads up, yeah extremely disappointing seeing as how much we paid for these. Meanwhile I've had a moderately priced Taurus .38 special revolver for years with no issues whatsoever!
I've had the gun put away for a few months, after getting it "fixed" it was having the same issues. A friend suggested I lube it up really well, all the parts I could get to. I'll see if that works, otherwise I'll be trading it in as a lemon. 😞 Glad to hear I'm not the only customer with this issue.
