"WASHINGTON - The Justice Department on Friday released an indictment against longtime Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, and his wife, Imelda, charging the pair with bribery and money laundering related to their ties with a bank in Mexico and an oil and gas company controlled by Azerbaijan.
NBC News was first to report that the charges were coming. The congressman and his wife were each released on a $100,000 bond after a first appearance in federal court in Houston, a DOJ spokesperson said Friday afternoon."

I am a Veteran who was born in Laredo, Texas. When I was still serving in the military, I went to Cuellar's office in Laredo to get congressional assistance b/c I was having issues with the military. Instead of helping a Soldier (and I was also Cuellar's constituent), Henry Cuellar called the Laredo Police (LPD are also corrupt), and he tried to have me arrested. He gave me a criminal trespass warning and tried to scare me off (it didn't work, b/c I called the Texas Rangers, and they came and told the Police to back off and not even think about arresting a Soldier that had no criminal history and just got back from Iraq and was asking for congressional assistance (and if the police didn't back off, the Texas Rangers were going to arrest the Laredo Chief of Police - now that is what I call having balls - Go Rangers). That was years ago, but when I found out this corrupt politician (Cuellar) was indicted, I said, "Couldn't have happened to better guy!" He tried to arrest me. Now he's facing 80 years in prison. Life's a "b" Henry. Have fun in court.

once upon a time there was a story about stuff, and other stuff. in that story was a statement which read: "because literally every institution is rigged against the people, what if someone with a few million to blow went on a broad-spectrum campaign of elimination targeting these corrupt politicians and the capitalist class who they serve... would the purging of these disgusting narcissists would be a wonderful step forward for society, while inducing a chilling effect on others who would dare?" and in this story, stuff was realized, and other stuff became apparent, and so on. (framing it into the format of a story defeats the censorship)

Democracy died in the USA long ago, and I am certain the USA never had a true Democracy with the power in the Senate, and the Electoral College. Vote for the Dems because I have seen Trump in office. Both the Dems and Repubs cause fear in me, but at least with Corporate Joe in office I do not wake up, hear the morning news and start screaming before I finish my cup of coffee. With Joe I scream less often, and do not have to listen to the rants of a crazy man.

Capitalism also requires more and more people to produce the goods for “endless” growth. 1:49 you're being EXTREMELY disingenuous by stating the maximum sentence for the offenses as opposed to what federal sentencing guidelines would give. He's a first offender and it's unlikely that all charges and counts will stick. It's common knowledge that prosecutors over-charge as a matter of general practice in order to put pressure on the defendant to take a plea deal.
